With Alvin Kamara (ribs) out, RB Mark Ingram started Sunday's game against the Vikings. But he left briefly with in injury early in the 2nd half, and Latavius Murray wound up leading the team in carries. Murray rushed 11 times for 57 yards and a TD. Ingram totaled just 30 yards on 10 rushes, adding 3 receptions for 13 yards. We'll see about Kamara's status heading into Week 5.

Broncos RB Javonte Williams went down with a right knee injury in the 3rd quarter of Sunday's game vs. the Raiders and was quickly ruled out. We'll update his status as soon as we know more. Williams' absence leaves Denver with RBs Melvin Gordon and Mike Boone.

Broncos DT D.J. Jones (concussion) is active for today's game against the Raiders.

Broncos RB Javonte Williams led the backfield in Week 3, rushing 15 times for 58 yards. Unfortunately for fantasy owners, Melvin Gordon mixed in for 12 attempts and a goal line score, plus 6 targets (vs. 5 for Williams). Williams added a drop. If there’s a positive here, it’s that he continues to pass the eye test as a tackle-dodger. Pro Football Focus charted him with 5 missed tackles forced against a stout San Francisco defense. He’ll enter a more favorable matchup this Sunday at Vegas.

Broncos WR Jerry Jeudy played through his questionable tag for Sunday night's win over the 49ers. He spent 20 fewer snaps on the field than WR Courtland Sutton but ran only 9 fewer routes (39-30, according to Pro Football Focus). Sutton led the team, though, in targets (10), receptions (8) and receiving yards (97). No one else on the team reached 30 receiving yards. Jeudy added 2 catches for 17 yards on 6 targets. His 1 missed connection was a narrowly completed deep ball that got tipped by the covering corner just before reaching Jeudy's hands. We'd bet on that playing-time gap closing as Jeudy gets further beyond his Week 2 injury.

Dolphins RB Chase Edmonds delivered 2 goal line scores in Miami’s upset win over Buffalo. Week 3 didn’t exactly turn up huge yardage numbers, though. Edmonds posted 21 yards on 6 carries; Raheem Mostert tallied 8 carries for 11 yards. And this was against a short-handed Bills defense. Mostert also out-snapped Edmonds, although the numbers were close (24-19). This backfield figures to remain fluid for a Week 4 Thursday night game at Cincinnati.

Broncos WR K.J. Hamler (knee, hip) is active for tonight’s game vs. the 49ers. With WR Jerry Jeudy playing, Hamler is just a DFS tournament flier in this one.

Broncos WR Jerry Jeudy (rib, shoulder) is active for tonight’s game vs. the 49ers. He got in just a limited practice on Friday and carries more risk in fantasy lineups than usual. But Jeudy is available if you were waiting on him.

Broncos WR Jerry Jeudy is “on track to play” Sunday against the 49ers, though he wants to see how his rib and shoulder injuries feel in pregame warmups, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Broncos WR K.J. Hamler (knee, hip) is listed as questionable for Sunday night’s game vs. the 49ers. He practiced all week, including a full workout on Friday, so he should be good to go. Hamler’s Week 3 fantasy projection depends heavily on WR Jerry Jeudy’s status.

Broncos WR Jerry Jeudy (rib, shoulder) is listed as questionable for Sunday night’s game vs. the 49ers. He returned to a limited practice on Friday after sitting out the previous 2 days. ESPN’s Jeff Legwold believes Jeudy has a “good chance” to play, but the late kickoff makes it a tricky situation for fantasy owners. We’ll see if we get a Jeudy update on Sunday morning.

Broncos WR Jerry Jeudy (rib, shoulder) missed practice again on Thursday. He's looking unlikely to play vs. the 49ers on Sunday night, but we'll see how he's listed on the final injury report tomorrow. WR K.J. Hamler (knee, hip) put in his 2nd straight limited practice on Thursday.

Broncos LB Josey Jewell (calf) was limited for Wednesday's practice. That matches his participation level from Friday's practice. Jewell entered Sunday's game against Houston questionable but missed his 2nd straight contest. Opening this week limited suggests he's likely nearing a return. We'll see if he's ready to face the 49ers on Sunday night. CB Patrick Surtain (shoulder) and EDGE Randy Gregory (knee) missed practice. Surtain left Week 2 with the injury. Gregory has played through the knee issue each of the 1st 2 games.

Broncos WR K.J. Hamler (knee, hip) put in a limited practice on Wednesday. After playing 40 snaps in the opener, Hamler missed practice all last week and was inactive for the Texans game. It looks like he has a shot to return for Sunday night's game vs. the 49ers -- and is certainly needed with WR Jerry Jeudy banged up.

Broncos WR Jerry Jeudy (rib, shoulder) did not practice on Wednesday. His injuries reportedly aren't serious, but he's uncertain for Sunday night's game vs. the 49ers. We'll see if he can get back on the practice field tomorrow.

The 49ers have promoted RB Marlon Mack from the practice squad. San Francisco has already lost RBs Elijah Mitchell and Ty Davis-Price to multi-week injuries. Jeff Wilson will open Week 3's game vs. the Broncos as the lead back, with Mack and rookie Jordan Mason behind him. Mack hasn't looked like the same player since his 2020 Achilles tear, so we're not optimistic about his chances of making an impact with the 'Niners. He's only worth stashing in deep fantasy leagues.

Broncos WR Courtland Sutton posted a 7-122 receiving line on 11 targets in Sunday's win over Houston. He accounted for 50% of Russell Wilson's total completions on a sluggish offensive day and claimed 35.5% of targets. Jerry Jeudy left early with a chest injury, but the team doesn't expect it to be serious. We'll see about Jeudy's Week 3 availability. No other Bronco exceeded 4 targets against the Texans.

Broncos RB Javonte Williams had a decent day in Sunday's win over the Texans, rushing for 75 yards on 15 carries (5.0 per attempt) and adding a catch for 10 yards among 4 targets. The better news for Williams -- amid a rough day for the Denver offense on whole -- was that his playing time stood further ahead of Melvin Gordon's in Week 2. Williams played 65% of snaps against Houston, compared with 32% for Gordon. They went 58-41 in the opener. Gordon also saw his route rate dip further from what was already a good-sized gap in Williams' favor. So the role has looked good for Williams drafters. Now we just need Denver's offense to stop being run moronically.

Broncos QB Russell Wilson completed just 14 of his 31 pass attempts for 219 yards in Sunday's win over the Texans. He threw a TD to TE Eric Saubert, but also an INT. Denver has scored just 33 points through 2 games, despite matchups with defenses that aren't likely to emerge as tough.

Broncos WR Jerry Jeudy is considered "day-to-day" with a chest/sternum injury suffered in Sunday's win over the Texans, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. So it sounds like Jeudy escaped a significant injury and even has a chance to play vs. the 49ers on Sunday night. We'll track his practice participation this week.
