Matt Prater To Miss Time With Quad Injury
Bills HC Sean McDermott said Monday that K Matt Prater is "week to week" with a right quad injury. "Not ideal. Matt's done a really good job having that consistency during the year. Obviously, T-Bass [Tyler Bass] had the surgery, so he's not an option either. So we'll figure that piece out," McDermott said. Buffalo travels to Cleveland to face the Browns in Week 16.

Tyler Bass Out At Least First Four Weeks
Bills K Tyler Bass (left hip, groin) has been placed on IR. He'll miss at least the first four games of the season and can be dropped from all fantasy rosters. Matt Prater will be elevated from the practice squad and kick for Buffalo vs. the Ravens on Sunday night. Prater made all six of his FGs and all 10 of his XPs in four games for the Cardinals last year, before missing the rest of the season with a torn meniscus. He's a solid replacement for Bass owners.

Bills K Tyler Bass (left hip, groin) was limited in Wednesday's practice and didn't do much in the portion of Thursday's practice open to the media, according to The Athletic's Joe Buscaglia. Buffalo also signed K Matt Prater to the practice squad on Thursday, suggesting legitimate concern about Bass' availability for Sunday night's opener against the Ravens. Look elsewhere for your Week 1 fantasy kicker.
