The Buccaneers placed CB Sean Murphy-Bunting on IR Monday with a dislocated right elbow. He suffered the injury in Thursday's win over the Cowboys. Murphy-Bunting starts on the outside and moves to the slot in nickel situations. Losing him in the latter role figures to have the greatest impact on the Tampa defense, though Ross Cockrell rated well in coverage last season and could mitigate that effect. It's not yet clear when the Bucs hope to get Murphy-Bunting back.

CB Jamel Dean saw a playing-time boost in Murphy-Bunting's absence and would likely see more snaps if his teammate remains out for Week 4. We'll see about Murphy-Bunting's status this week.
