Saints WRs Rashid Shaheed and Tre'Quan Smith left Saturday's practice early with groin injuries, according to Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.football. We'll see about the severity of each issue, but it seems particularly noteworthy for Shaheed. He's not only expected to run ahead of Smith on the depth chart, but Shaheed also missed June minicamp with what was deemed a minor groin injury. Even if this instance also proves minor, we haven't been excited about Shaheed's 2023 fantasy football outlook. He'll need an injury to Chris Olave or Michael Thomas to pull him up our WR rankings.
Saints WR Rashid Shaheed (thigh) is not listed on the final Week 15 injury report. He was a full-go in Friday’s practice, so he shouldn’t be limited in this weekend’s game vs. the Giants. Shaheed is an upside WR4 option and will get a boost if WR Chris Olave misses with his ankle injury.
Saints WR Rashid Shaheed (thigh) got in a limited practice on Wednesday. That gives him a shot to return for this weekend's game vs. the Giants. We'll keep you updated on Shaheed's status over the next few days.
Saints WR Rashid Shaheed (thigh) is inactive for today’s game vs. the Panthers. ESPN’s Adam Schefter said this morning that Shaheed “has a chance” to return for next week’s game vs. the Giants. We’ll keep you updated on his status this coming week.
Saints insider Nick Underhill confirms that WR Rashid Shaheed (groin) will not play vs. the Panthers on Sunday. Shaheed's quad injury is "more serious than initially believed," Underhill adds. "Initially thought to be a contusion, a second opinion showed it is more serious." It sounds like there's a good chance that Shaheed misses more time beyond Week 14. He's droppable in most redraft fantasy leagues.
Saints WR Rashid Shaheed (thigh) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Panthers. He didn’t practice all week, so fantasy owners certainly shouldn’t count on him in Week 14 lineups. We’ll get New Orleans’ inactives around 11:30 am ET on Sunday.
