49ers QB Brock Purdy completed 18 of 28 passes (64%) for 255 yards (9.1 YPA), three TDs, and 0 INTs in Thursday night's win over the Seahawks. Purdy's first score came early in the second quarter. He connected down the left sideline with WR Deebo Samuel, who dodged one defender before out-racing another for a 76-yard score. Purdy's other two TDs went to TE George Kittle from 10 and nine yards out. Purdy impressed with his mobility throughout this game, buying extra time to throw and running four times for 19 yards.
This was only Purdy's second multi-TD game of the season. He's sitting on a 4.9% TD rate after throwing a TD on 7.2% of his passes over his first two seasons. There's probably some positive regression come there the rest of the season.
Purdy has been excellent otherwise. He's completed 65.4% of his passes and averaged 8.8 yards per attempt.
Purdy has even added some rushing production to his fantasy profile. He's averaged 4.3 carries and 21.2 rushing yards per game and has at least 11 rushing yards in all six games. That helps.
Purdy has showdowns the next two weeks against the Chiefs and Cowboys, who rank 16th and 17th in adjusted fantasy points allowed to QBs. He'll likely land inside our top-12 QBs for both games. Purdy then gets a Week 9 bye -- and it sounds like he'll get RB Christian McCaffrey back for Week 10.
A 2-QB draft can wreck even the savviest fantasy players. Follow these proven strategies and draft like the best.
