After signing with the Titans in his first stint in free agency, Wan’Dale Robinson appears primed for another high-target season. Titans beat writer Easton Freeze, who was at training camp practice this morning, said that “Robinson hauled in at least five balls by my count, with more than that in terms of targets.”

Robinson is coming off a season where he was one just 10 wide receivers to post a 28.0% target share or higher. For reference, the only wide receivers to command a higher target share than Robinson were Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Ja’Marr Chase, Amon-Ra St Brown, Puka Nacua, Drake London, and Rashee Rice.
Robinson isn’t departing from the Giants to the Titans on his own either, his former head coach Brian Daboll comes over to be his offensive coordinator. That continuity should help him maintain a target total close to what he saw in last year’s offense.
He doesn’t step into a proven passing attack, but as a wide receiver who commands his targets closer to the line of scrimmage, he can still produce in a lower-scoring offense.
If Robinson is going to top last year’s 13.5 PPR points per game (PPG), it won’t be because of an even bigger target share. It’ll be because Cam Ward takes a step forward and leads a more productive passing offense.
