The Saints have already received unfortunate news this week on one of their rookie wide receivers. It was announced Monday that Jordyn Tyson is expected to be sidelined until at least deep September.
But the team has been getting positive feedback on its other rookie WR, who's continuing to impress in training camp. Lance showed out in yesterday's practice, catching every ball thrown his way.
Lance played five seasons at North Dakota State, where he posted eye-popping production in his final year. He accounted for over a 25% target share while posting nearly 4.00 yards per team pass attempt.
There wasn't another WR prospect in the draft who came close to that in his final collegiate season.
With Tyson out for at least the near future, Lance has room to flash early in this offense.
