Corey Clement Fantasy Football News | Shark Bites

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

The Cardinals elevated RB Corey Clement from the practice squad. He joins Keaontay Ingram and Tony Jones in Arizona's backfield for Sunday's game vs. the Browns. It remains a situation to try to avoid in fantasy lineups.

The Cardinals released RB Corey Clement. It's confirmation that Keaontay Ingram has won the No. 2 RB job behind James Conner. Ingram is worth a look near the end of deeper fantasy drafts.

The Cardinals signed RB Marlon Mack. Since tearing his Achilles in September of 2020, Mack has totaled just 185 yards on 44 carries. Arizona has only RBs Keaontay Ingram, Corey Clement, and Ty'Son Williams behind James Conner, but Mack still isn't guaranteed a roster spot. He's not worth a roster spot in fantasy football.

Cardinals HC Kliff Kingsbury said Monday that X-rays on RB James Conner's shin came back clean and that the injury is "nothing major." It sounds like Conner has a shot to play in this weekend's finale vs. the 49ers -- although it's certainly possible that he's held out of a game that means nothing to Arizona. Conner's absence would leave the Cardinals' backfield to Corey Clement and Keaontay Ingram.

Cardinals RB James Conner (ribs) is inactive for tonight's game vs. the Saints. That leaves Eno Benjamin as Arizona's lead back. He handled 15 carries and 3 targets last week and should be in for similar volume tonight. RB Corey Clement was elevated from the practice squad and joins RB Keaontay Ingram behind Benjamin.

The Cardinals elevated RB Corey Clement from the practice squad to the active roster. He'll join Eno Benjamin and Keaontay Ingram in the backfield vs. the Seahawks today. Benjamin figures to lead the group in carries and targets and is the only viable fantasy play.

Cardinals RBs James Conner (ribs) and Darrel Williams (knee) are out for this weekend's game vs. the Seahawks. That leaves RBs Eno Benjamin and Keaontay Ingram on the active roster, with RBs Ty'Son Williams and Corey Clement on the practice squad. We'll see if Arizona elevates Williams or Clement, but expect Benjamin to lead this backfield in carries on Sunday and handle most of the passing-down work. He's a rock-solid RB2 vs. Seattle's 26th-ranked RB defense.

Cardinals RB Darrel Williams will miss at least this weekend's game vs. the Seahawks with a sprained knee, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. RB James Conner's status for that one is uncertain after he hurt his ribs last week. RB Jonathan Ward (hamstring) is heading to IR, leaving Eno Benjamin and Keaontay Ingram as the healthy RBs on Arizona's active roster. The Cardinals signed Corey Clement and Ty'Son Williams to the practice squad on Tuesday. We'll track this situation over the next few days, but Benjamin has a shot to be a nice Week 6 fantasy play if Conner can't go.

The Ravens released RB Corey Clement. He lasted just a few weeks with the team. With RB Gus Edwards (knee) likely to open the season on the PUP list, the Ravens are currently slated to head into Week 1 with RBs J.K. Dobbins, Mike Davis, Justice Hill and Tyler Badie.

The Ravens PR staff released the 1st "unofficial" depth chart of the year Friday, with RB Mike Davis the top active player at the position. That still slots him behind J.K. Dobbins and Gus Edwards, who remain on the PUP. Justice Hill, Corey Clement, Nate McCrary and rookie Tyler Badie follow, in that order. These depth charts are notoriously unreliable, especially ahead of preseason debuts for nearly all teams. We'll be watching to see if Badie -- in particular -- works in earlier once the exhibition contests get rolling. In the meantime, Davis is worth considering as a low-owned, end-of-draft option for best-ball tournament rosters.

The Ravens on Monday reached a deal with RB Corey Clement. Baltimore is opening training camp with J.K. Dobbins and Gus Edwards on the PUP list, as both work back from summer 2021 ACL tears. We'll see whether Clement can actually compete for a regular-season roster spot.

Cowboys RB Tony Pollard (foot) has been downgraded to out for Saturday night's game vs. the Eagles. It's unclear if he suffered a setback with that foot or is just getting some rest with Dallas having already won the NFC East. Even with Pollard out, don't expect the Cowboys to overwork RB Ezekiel Elliott on Saturday. Corey Clement will mix in as the #2 RB.

Cowboys RB Tony Pollard (foot) won't play vs. Washington today, according to Fox Sports' Jay Glazer. That leaves Corey Clement as Dallas' #2 RB and should mean an increased role for RB Ezekiel Elliott. Despite his ongoing knee trouble, Zeke looks like a borderline RB1 based on volume alone.

NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reports that the Cowboys are signing RB Corey Clement to the active roster. The former Eagle spent training camp and the preseason with the Giants but didn't make the 53-man roster. He'll obviously land behind Ezekiel Elliott and Tony Pollard on the Dallas depth chart, but that 3rd spot is open. We're not particularly interested in Clement for any fantasy football format, though.

The Giants released RB Corey Clement. It looked like he might be pushing for the #2 RB role early in camp, but Clement (predictably) faded. Devontae Booker is locked in as Saquon Barkley's handcuff. Rookie RB Gary Brightwell is currently the #3.
