Broncos LB Josey Jewell (hamstring) and DE Derek Wolfe (ankle) are active for today's game against the Jaguars. Neither is a high-level IDP play. We'll see about Jewell's playing time in the 2nd game back for fellow ILB Todd Davis. S Kareem Jackson (hamstring) is inactive.

Broncos LB Josey Jewell is questionable for Sunday's game against the Jaguars. He returned to a limited practice Friday after missing the 1st 2 days with a hamstring injury that knocked him out of Week 3 a little early. We'd try not to use Jewell even if he's active Sunday. Denver also deemed S Kareem Jackson questionable after he missed the entire practice week with a hamstring issue. DE Derek Wolfe, meanwhile, is questionable with an ankle injury.

Broncos LB Todd Davis is active for today's game against the Packers. He missed the 1st 2 games with the calf injury that cost him nearly the whole summer. That makes Davis a risky IDP option for his 1st week back. We'll be quite curious to see his playing time, though, and whether Davis' return affects Josey Jewell's playing time.

Broncos LB Todd Davis (calf) and CB Bryce Callahan (foot) are inactive for today's game against the Bears.

Broncos LB Todd Davis is questionable for Sunday's game agains the Bears. He put in limited practices all week after missing Week 1 with the calf injury that kept him out all summer. We'll see about Davis' status Sunday afternoon, but IDP owners shouldn't plan on using him in most cases.

Broncos LB Todd Davis is doubtful for Monday night's game against the Raiders. Davis missed nearly all of training camp and the preseason with a calf injury that continued to keep him out of practice over the past week. His absence hurts a thin Denver LB depth chart but boosts the IDP upside of fellow ILB starter Josey Jewell. Elsewhere on the defense, slot CB Bryce Callahan is questionable with a foot injury that limited his practice participation all week. That's good news for Raiders rookie slot WR Hunter Renfrow, who sports some deep PPR upside.

Broncos LB Todd Davis expects to be ready for the regular-season opener next Monday night, NFL Network's James Palmer reports. Davis has been out of practice since suffering a calf injury on the 1st day of training camp. We wouldn't plan to use him in IDP lineups for that 1st game against the Raiders. But Davis cracked the top 20 among fantasy LBs last season and is worth rostering in leagues of at least moderate depth.

Broncos ILB Todd Davis suffered a partial tear in his right calf and is expected to miss 3-4 weeks, according to ESPN's Jeff Legwold. That leaves Denver sorting through inexperienced backups to play next to 1st-time starter Josey Jewell. Davis' timeline still puts him in play for the regular-season opener. We'll see how ready he is come late August. Jewell, meanwhile, looks like a potential sleeper for IDP fantasy football drafts. If you've seen our LB rankings, then you already know that's how we view him.

Former Texans DB Kareem Jackson has agreed to a 3-year deal with the Broncos. ESPN's Adam Schefter reports it'll pay out $33 million, with $23 million of that guaranteed. Jackson spent time at both CB and safety with the Texans, primarily lining up at corner. He finished 2018 as the #14 graded CB by Pro Football Focus, garnering his best PFF grade since 2014. We'll see where Jackson lands in Denver's defense, heading into his age-31 season.

The Broncos are set to hire Vic Fangio as their HC, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Fangio has 14 seasons of experience as an NFL defensive coordinator but has never been a HC at any level. We'll see who he tabs to run his offense.

Update: Denver has named Gary Kubiak its new OC. Kubiak has 22 seasons of experience as an NFL HC or OC, including 13 with the Broncos. He's landed an impressive 19 units inside the top 16 in total yards and 11 in the top 5.

Broncos OLB Von Miller (ankle) and ILB Brandon Marshall (knee) are active for today's game against the Chiefs.

Broncos OLB Von Miller (ankle) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Chiefs. HC Vance Joseph said Miller will be in the lineup, though, according to Pro Football Talk. If you're planning to use Miller, then he should be good to go. LB Brandon Marshall (knee) is also questionable. He has become a weak IDP contributor.

Broncos LB Todd Davis (shoulder) is active for today's game against the Jets. He's a decent flex option for IDP leagues that allow 4+ LBs into weekly lineups.
