The Titans promoted RB D'Onta Foreman to the active roster. He signed to the practice squad on Tuesday, so he must have had a good week of practice. Foreman joins Jeremy McNichols and Adrian Peterson in Tennessee's backfield for Sunday night's game vs. the Rams.

The Titans waived RB Mekhi Sargent from the practice squad and replaced him with RB D'Onta Foreman. Foreman was a 3rd-rounder back in 2017 but has totaled just 29 carries since tearing his Achilles in November of his rookie year. He's unlikely to emerge as a fantasy factor but is at least worth monitoring in Tennessee's Henry-less backfield.

The Falcons released RB D'Onta Foreman. Atlanta is down to Mike Davis, Qadree Ollison and Cordarrelle Patterson at RB. We'll see if they add to the backfield over the next few days. But Davis is looking safer and safer as the team's clear lead back.

Colts RB D'Onta Foreman has been placed on IR with a torn biceps, according to insider Aaron Wilson. Foreman, of course, was still working his way back from 2017's torn Achilles. Now it'll be 2020 before he has a shot to make any sort of impact.

Colts RB Jordan Wilkins has been sidelined the past couple of days with a foot injury. “Ongoing evaluation on him,” HC Frank Reich said Saturday. “Trying to determine the best course of action on his foot.” Wilkins' absence will gives RBs D'Onta Foreman and Jonathan Williams a chance to make up some ground on the depth chart. Those 3 guys could be fighting for just 1 roster spot behind Marlon Mack and Nyheim Hines.

The Colts have claimed RB D'Onta Foreman off waivers. The 89th pick of the 2017 draft was cut over the weekend by the Texans, who reportedly weren't happy with Foreman's work ethic. It remains to be seen if he'll ever regain pre-injury form after his torn Achilles, but he was once an intriguing prospect at 6’0, 233 pounds with 4.4 speed. We don't consider Foreman an immediate threat to Marlon Mack's lead ball-carrying role -- and he's definitely not a threat to Nyheim Hines' pass-catching role. But Foreman could push Jordan Wilkins for the #3 spot on the depth chart.

The Texans are releasing RB D'Onta Foreman, according to the Houston Chronicle's John McClain. "They weren’t happy with his work habits," McClain writes. This comes as a major surprise after the team had been talking up its 2017 third-rounder all offseason. Still just 23, Foreman will certainly find a job elsewhere, but he's not worth drafting right now. The Texans, meanwhile, are left with undrafted rookies Damarea Crockett and Karan Higdon, plus vets Josh Ferguson, Buddy Howell and Taiwan Jones, behind Lamar Miller. Look for them to add to that group before Week 1, but Miller is obviously a fantasy winner here.

Texans HC Bill O'Brien said RB D'Onta Foreman is making "good progress" as he continues to work back from 2017's torn Achilles. "I think he’s had a really good time away from us, and that’s parlayed into a good spring," O'Brien added. Foreman got back on the field last December and is encouraged by how this offseason has gone. "I’m fluid. I feel good. My mindset is really good right now," he said. "A year ago, I didn’t know what I would be like coming back, if I would ever be the same. I had a lot of stuff going through my mind. Right now, I’m just in a good spirit and looking forward to the season." A healthy Foreman is plenty capable of pushing RB Lamar Miller for work this year. We'll be keeping a close eye on the situation when training camp opens.

Texans GM Brian Gaine said he's "optimistic about a very positive return” from RB D'Onta Foreman. Foreman was just starting to flash as a rookie before tearing his Achilles. He predictably didn't do much this past season, debuting in December and carrying 8 times for 2 yards in 2 appearances. Houston used a 3rd-round pick on Foreman back in 2017 after he ripped off 2,028 yards and 15 TDs in his final year at Texas, so there's obviously ability here. We'll see if he can regain pre-injury form and push for a significant role this summer.

D'Onta Foreman might also be ready to make his 2018 debut after last year's torn Achilles. Blue is the better fantasy play, though, and has some RB2 upside vs. a Philly defense that's allowed 5.4 yards per carry to RBs over the past 5 weeks.

Texans RB Lamar Miller (ankle) is listed as questionable after a limited week of practice. HC Bill O’Brien said Friday that Miller “has a chance” to play against the Eagles on Sunday. We’ll get his official status by noon ET. If Miller suits up, he’ll be a risk/reward RB2 at less than 100%. If not, Alfred Blue figures to serve as Houston’s lead back. RB D’Onta Foreman (Achilles) could also make his 2018 debut.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport hears that the ankle injury Texans RB Lamar Miller suffered in Saturday's win over the Jets is "not serious." Rapoport adds that there's "a chance" Miller is able to play next week. RB Alfred Blue mustered just 6 yards on 9 carries in relief of Miller vs. the Jets. It's possible we see some RB D'Onta Foreman against the Eagles next week if Miller can't go next week. We'll keep an eye on the situation this coming week.
