The Chargers re-signed TE Donald Parham to a 2-year, $2.65 million deal. The 6'8 behemoth was not tendered as a restricted free agent by Los Angeles and ends up returning on a cheap deal, suggesting that he didn't find much interest on the open market. Parham has been just a part-time player through 3 NFL seasons, totaling 40 catches for 479 yards and 7 TDs. TE Gerald Everett had been mentioned as a potential cap casualty for the Chargers but remains on the roster as of mid-March. Unless that changes, Parham is only worth a look in the deepest of fantasy drafts.

Chargers TE Gerald Everett snagged 6 of 8 targets for 109 yards and 1 score in Saturday’s loss at Jacksonville. He paced the team and yardage and was on the receiving end of Justin Herbert’s lone TD. The former Seahawk ended his first year in L.A. as the TE13 in PPG, boosted by injuries to Mike Williams and Keenan Allen. Everett, 28, is under contract for 1 more season.

Chargers HC Brandon Staley plans to play starters in Sunday's game vs. the Broncos. A win would lock up the AFC's #5 seed for the Chargers, meaning a Round 1 game vs. the Jaguars or Titans. A loss would open the door for the Ravens to take the #5 seed with a win over the Bengals. That'd push the Chargers down to #6 and mean a Round 1 game vs. Cincinnati. “Our approach is definitely going to get shot to win this ballgame and play as well as we can play heading into the playoffs,” Staley said. “I think that there’s certainly an advantage to be in the No. 5-seed, from where I stand, so we’re going to try and get there.” Staley did add that he'd consider sitting banged-up players. But, as of now, we're projecting full playing time for QB Justin Herbert, RB Austin Ekeler and WRs Keenan Allen and Mike Williams.

Chargers QB Justin Herbert posted his 2nd-largest passing-yardage total of the season Sunday, throwing for 335 yards in a loss to the Raiders. He completed 28 of 47 throws (59.6%), finding WR Keenan Allen for the offense's only TD. Allen posted a 6-88-1 receiving line on a team-high 14 targets. WR Josh Palmer led the team with 7 catches among 11 targets and totaled 60 yards. TE Gerald Everett added 5 catches for 80 yards among 6 targets. The Chargers host Miami in Week 14. We'll see whether WR Mike Williams (ankle) can make it back for that contest.

Chargers TE Gerald Everett (groin) is not listed on the final Week 12 injury report after putting in full practices on Thursday and Friday. He’ll be back for Sunday’s plus matchup against the Cardinals’ 31st-ranked TE defense.

Chargers TE Gerald Everett (groin) was upgraded to full participation in Thursday's practice. That puts him on track to return for this weekend's game vs. the Cardinals' 31st-ranked TE defense.

Chargers TE Gerald Everett (groin) was limited in Wednesday's practice. He was left off the final injury report last Friday, added as questionable on Saturday and then missed Sunday night's game vs. the Chiefs. We'll see if Everett is able to make it back for this weekend's plus matchup vs. the Cardinals.

Chargers TE Gerald Everett (groin) is inactive for tonight’s game against the Chiefs. That leaves Tre McKitty as Los Angeles’ top TE.

The Chargers initially left TE Gerald Everett (groin) off the final injury report for Sunday night's game against the Chiefs. But despite finishing the week with a full Friday practice, Everett has now been downgraded to questionable. That could indicate a setback with the groin issue since the initial injury report. We'll watch for reports on his status ahead of the early Sunday games. But it'll be tough to wait on him for a lot of fantasy football lineups. With TE Donald Parham on IR, Tre McKitty would operate as the lead TE if Everett sits. He played a season-high 78% of snaps in last week's loss to the 49ers, drawing 6 targets but catching only 3 for 21 yards. McKitty will be a low-floor fantasy option but can fit nicely as insurance if you are waiting for Everett's game status.

Chargers TE Gerald Everett (groin) isn't listed on the final injury report. He practiced all week, including a full workout on Friday, so it doesn't seem like the groin will be an issue vs. the Chiefs on Sunday night. Everett's volume projection will take a hit, though, if the Chargers get WRs Mike Williams and Keenan Allen back.

Chargers WR Mike Williams (ankle), WR Keenan Allen (hamstring) and TE Gerald Everett (groin) were all limited on Thursday for the 2nd straight practice. We'll see what they're able to do tomorrow and then how they're listed on the final injury report for Sunday night's game vs. the Chiefs.

Chargers TE Gerald Everett (groin) got in a limited practice on Wednesday. It's encouraging news after he was knocked out early in Sunday night's loss to the 49ers -- and seemingly gives Everett a solid chance to play vs. the Chiefs this Sunday night. We'll update his status again tomorrow.

Chargers HC Brandon Staley labeled TE Gerald Everett "day to day" with the groin injury he suffered in the loss to the 49ers. Staley added that Everett is expected to practice at some point this week, which seemingly gives him a chance to be available for Sunday night's game vs. the Chiefs. We'll track Everett's status throughout the week.

Chargers TE Gerald Everett is questionable to return to Sunday night's game vs. the 49ers with a groin injury. With TE Donald Parham on IR, Los Angeles is down to TE Tre McKitty.

Chargers TE Gerald Everett tallied 5 catches for 36 yards in a Week 9 win over Atlanta. He dropped 1 pass that would have gone for at least 20 yards. His 8 targets were right in line with expectation — but the yardage certainly underwhelmed. On 43 Justin Herbert pass attempts, Everett’s 8 targets actually tied for 3rd on the team with fill-in WR Michael Bandy. The TE should remain busy this week at San Francisco with Mike Williams (and likely Keenan Allen) sidelined.

Chargers TE Donald Parham has been placed on IR with his hamstring injury. He'll miss at least the next 4 games and can be dropped from all redraft rosters. Parham's absence is a slight boost for TE Gerald Everett.

Chargers WR Keenan Allen (hamstring) is out for Sunday's game vs. the Falcons. He suffered a setback with that hamstring while training over the bye week and didn't practice at all this week. Allen said he's not returning until he's back to 100%, so consider him iffy for Week 10. WR Mike Williams (ankle) is also out for Sunday's game, while WR DeAndre Carter was added to the injury report on Friday and is listed as questionable with an illness. We'll see if he's able to suit up come Sunday. Josh Palmer should lead Chargers WRs in targets against Atlanta's 31st-ranked WR defense. Los Angeles' other healthy WRs are Michael Bandy and Jason Moore. WRs Joe Reed, John Hightower and Keelan Doss are on the practice squad. RB Austin Ekeler and TE Gerald Everett also project for strong volume this weekend.

Chargers TE Donald Parham did not practice on Thursday due to a hamstring injury. He just cleared the concussion protocol but now looks iffy for this weekend's game vs. Atlanta. Parham's absence would be a slight boost to TE Gerald Everett's fantasy stock.

Chargers TE Donald Parham has cleared the concussion protocol and is on track to play vs. the Falcons this weekend. He's not a fantasy option but does add some downside to TE Gerald Everett. When we last saw Parham in Week 6, he ran a route on just 18% of pass plays and drew 3 targets (5% share).

Chargers RB Austin Ekeler delivered a big receiving line in Sunday's loss to the Seahawks. He caught all 12 of his targets for 96 yards and 1 of QB Justin Herbert's 2 TD passes. Ekeler added a 9-31-1 rushing line, handling 75% off the team's RB carries for the game. WR Mike Williams posted a strong 7-86-1 receiving line on 9 targets before hurting his right ankle. TE Gerald Everett added 5-63 receiving on a matching 9 looks.
