Saints TE Jimmy Graham injured his foot in the 2nd half of Sunday's game.  He had it taped up on the sidelines and re-entered for a series.  But Graham was shown limping off to the locker room a while later.  We'll pass along an update when we get one.

Saints TE Jimmy Graham has been struggling with drops in camp, according to insider Mike Triplett.  That was a problem for Graham last season, too.  Pro Football Focus charged him with 15 drops -- tied for most league-wide.  Graham did haul in his only catchable target in the preseason opener and had another grab negated by penalty.  "Physically, Graham has looked very good this summer, and I'm still expecting a monster year from him," Triplett writes. "But he needs to make sure the drops don't become a habit."  Graham's hands are worth monitoring, but we're not adjusting his sky-high projections.

Saints beat writer Jeff Triplett says TE Jimmy Graham is “obviously coming along well” after January wrist surgery.  Triplett noted several highlight reel plays from OTAs, including a one-handed TD catch.  Just entering his prime, there’s no doubt Graham is ripe for another elite fantasy finish. He's well worth considering in the 2nd round of drafts.

Saints TE Jimmy Graham underwent wrist surgery earlier this month.  It'll keep him out of the Pro Bowl, but he's expected to be fine for minicamp and training camp this summer.  Graham played through the nagging wrist injury for much of the season.  It's at least partly to blame for his drop in production.  Graham's catches, yards, and TDs were all down from 2011.  He dropped a career-high 15 balls.  Still, he finished #1 among TEs in fantasy points and will return as a top-2 option at the position in 2013 fantasy drafts.

HC Sean Payton and the Saints have agreed to a 5-year contract extension.  It keeps the offensive mastermind in New Orleans through the 2017 season.  There were rumors that Payton would consider packing his bags for Dallas, but a return to the Big Easy was always the most likely scenario.  Payton has won 62 regular season games, plus a Super Bowl, in 6 seasons with the Saints.  The team has finished as a top 6 offense each year.  Payton's new deal is excellent news for the fantasy values of guys like Drew Brees, Darren Sproles, Marques Colston, and Jimmy Graham.

Saints TE Jimmy Graham dislocated the ring finger on his right hand during overtime on Sunday.  It was "bent sideways at an anatomically incorrect angle," according to insider Jeff Duncan.  But Graham returned just a couple plays later and made a game-saving fumble recovery.   "I didn't think about the finger," Graham said. "It felt like a loose ball on the basketball court, and I had to dive in and get it. I've been diving on hardwood since I was a little kid."  Graham should be able to play Week 17, but the finger could impact his ability to catch the ball.  He's already been dealing with an ongoing wrist issue, which is at least partly to blame for his career-high 13 drops.

Saints HC Joe Vitt revealed that TE Jimmy Graham has been dealing with an "ongoing" wrist issue.  It's unclear when the injury occurred, but it helps explain Graham's lackluster production lately.  He's managed just 13 catches for 148 yards and 0 TDs in his last 3 games.  Graham is in no danger of missing Sunday's game against the Bucs though.  And he retains as much upside as any TE in fantasy football.

Saints TE Jimmy Graham (ankle) is active for tonight's game against the Broncos.  There's a good chance his snaps will be limited.  But if you've waited on him, get him into fantasy lineups.  Besides maybe Vernon Davis, Graham is the best fantasy option among TEs that have yet to play.

Saints TE Jimmy Graham (ankle) will be a game-time decision for Sunday night's showdown with the Broncos.  He was limited in practice all week, although he reportedly "did more" on Friday.  He seems like a true 50-50 bet to play.  Graham is worth waiting on, but owners should add backup TE David Thomas in case Graham ends up inactive.

Saints TE Jimmy Graham (ankle) did not travel with the team to Tampa and has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Bucs.  The fact that he was able to practice a bit this week makes us think it's not a high-ankle sprain he's dealing with.  But Graham should still be considered iffy for Week 8.  David Thomas will step in as New Orleans' starting TE but is just a desperation option in fantasy.  Marques Colston, Lance Moore, and Darren Sproles should all pick up extra targets in Graham's absence.

Saints TE Jimmy Graham (ankle) was held out of practice on Wednesday.  It's certainly not a good sign after he had the bye week to heal up.  PFT reported that Graham is expected to play on Sunday, though, and interim HC Aaron Kromer said he "looks good" running around off to the side.  Still, reliable beat writer Mike Triplett considers Graham "very questionable" for Week 7.  We'll have another update tomorrow.

A source tells Pro Football Talk that Saints TE Jimmy Graham (ankle) is expected to play against the Bucs this Sunday.  The team has been mum on his status.  But Graham played through the injury 2 weeks ago and got a well-timed bye to heal up.  We'll keep an eye on his practice participation this week.  If Graham is active, though, you're starting him.

Saints TE Jimmy Graham rolled his ankle near the end of the 1st half of Sunday night's game against the Chargers.  He played sparingly in the 2nd and was mostly relegated to blocking duties.  Graham finished with just 1 catch on 2 targets for 4 yards.  The fact that he was able to contribute at all after suffering the injury is good news. Better news is that the Saints are off this coming week.  Graham should be fine when they return in Week 7.

Saints TE Jimmy Graham returned to practice Monday after missing a few days with a sore back.  The injury is a non-issue.  Graham is our top-ranked TE.
