ESPN's Jenna Laine reports that Buccaneers HC Bruce Arians called EDGE Jason Pierre-Paul a game-time decision for Sunday against the Patriots. Pierre-Paul missed Week 3 with a shoulder injury that then allowed him only a limited Friday practice this week. We'll watch his status, but don't count on having JPP available. The Sunday night kickoff makes it even more difficult to wait for him. The Bucs have already ruled CB Jamel Dean (knee) out for the game.

Buccaneers EDGE Jason Pierre-Paul is out for Sunday's game against the Rams. He's listed with both hand and shoulder injuries, but the shoulder is the bigger issue. We'll see how long he remains out.

Buccaneers EDGE Jason Pierre-Paul got a 2nd opinion on his injured shoulder and was told to rest it, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Although the Bucs haven't officially ruled JPP out for Week 3 yet, Rapoport adds that the veteran is "likely" to be inactive Sunday against the Rams. We'll certainly track the situation through the weekend, but make sure you plan accordingly for your IDP lineup. Anthony Nelson and rookie Joe Tryon-Shoyinka figure to each gain playing time if Pierre-Paul is out, but neither makes for a sturdy fantasy football option this week.

Buccaneers CB Carlton Davis (hamstring) is active for today’s game against the Falcons. He’ll carry some elevated risk but also upside vs. Calvin Ridley

Buccaneers CB Carlton Davis is questionable for Sunday's game against the Falcons with a hamstring injury. The team added him to the injury report Friday, when he was limited. So it's a new issue. We'll check Davis' status Sunday morning. The Bucs are already down starting CB Sean Murphy-Bunting (elbow; IR).

The Buccaneers placed CB Sean Murphy-Bunting on IR Monday with a dislocated right elbow. He suffered the injury in Thursday's win over the Cowboys. Murphy-Bunting starts on the outside and moves to the slot in nickel situations. Losing him in the latter role figures to have the greatest impact on the Tampa defense, though Ross Cockrell rated well in coverage last season and could mitigate that effect. It's not yet clear when the Bucs hope to get Murphy-Bunting back.

Buccaneers CB Sean Murphy-Bunting suffered an elbow injury in the 1st half of Thursday night's opener against the Cowboys. The team ruled him out for the game. We'll see how much longer he remains out.

The Buccaneers have ruled CB Brent Grimes (shoulder) out for the 2nd straight game, which certainly only helps the Saints' passing game. DE Robert Ayers (ankle) and OLB Kendell Beckwith (knee) are questionable after limited practice weeks. Ayers has been playing through questionable tags for several weeks. Beckwith's issue is new. Neither is an IDP factor even if active.
