Atlanta closes out against a Buccaneers defense that has been a negative matchup for RB scoring but a neutral matchup for rushing overall (4.5 yards per carry allowed to RBs). Tampa Bay also might not have much to play for after clinching the NFC South title with a Week 17 win. Allgeier has claimed 17+ carries in 3 straight games.

The 103-yarder was in addition to leading Atlanta RBs in carries (10) and finishing behind Tyler Allgeier in yards (52 vs. 55). Patterson remained a low-volume passing option, catching both of his targets for 7 yards. His 2 targets actually marked the most he’s seen since Week 1 (5). With Atlanta insisting on a RB rotation, Patterson looks like a low-end RB2/FLEX going forward. Next up is a Jets run D ranking a formidable 13th in adjusted fantasy points allowed to RBs.

A Week 5 meeting with Tampa Bay likely won't prove as favorable as it looked to Chiefs RBs on Sunday night.

A decent Week 4 matchup with Cleveland gives way to tougher defenses from Tampa Bay and San Francisco the following 2 games.
