Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill does not need surgery on his injured shoulder but is expected to miss "a few weeks," ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. Chiefs head trainer Rick Burkholder revealed that Hill is dealing with a sternal clavicular joint injury. It sounds like fantasy owners should prepare to be without him until at least Week 5. Hill's absence elevates WR Sammy Watkins to the top of the Chiefs' depth chart. Demarcus Robinson and rookie Mecole Hardman are next in line and are worth speculative adds in deeper fantasy leagues.

Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill had to go to the hospital to have his shoulder injury treated by the trauma department, according to insider B.J. Kissel. We don't yet have other details regarding Hill's injury or how long he'll be sidelined, but it doesn't sound like this is minor. We'll update Hill's status as we learn more.

Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill hurt his shoulder in the 1st quarter of Sunday's game in Jacksonville and is officially questionable to return. Stay tuned for an update.

Update: Hill has been ruled out for the rest of the game.

The Chiefs and WR Tyreek Hill have agreed to a 3-year, $54 extension, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Hill is now signed with Kansas City through the 2022 campaign and is among the top 3 highest-paid WRs in the league. It's a serious commitment from the Chiefs to a guy with major off-field concerns. The extension is certainly good news for Hill's dynasty value.

Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill was in pads and with the team for the start of Friday's practice, according to BJ Kissel of the team website. Hill hadn't practiced since sustaining a bruised quad in Tuesday's workout. He's good to go now, though, and never moved in our rankings.

Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill left Tuesday's practice with an apparent right leg injury, according to The Athletic's Nate Taylor. We'll keep an eye out for more on the situation.

Update: ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that it’s merely a bruised quad and that the team expects Hill to be “fine."

The league will not discipline Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill over the assault allegations he faced this offseason, according to multiple reports. ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that the NFL has found no evidence that Hill abused his son. "It will leave open case if further evidence emerges, but Hill is free to report to camp, practice and play this season," Schefter tweeted. That clears Hill for 16 games, barring further evidence emerging. Hill had already climbed to Round 4 of best-ball drafts and could make his way into the 3rd or even 2nd round of drafts now. He belongs in that range. His cleared status helps QB Patrick Mahomes, lowers the target ceiling for WR Sammy Watkins and should push rookie WR Mecole Hardman to the fringes of 2019 redraft.

The Athletic's Nate Taylor hears that Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill's meeting with the NFL on Wednesday was "successful." Hill reportedly provided the league with "a massive amount of evidence to support his testimony." The Chiefs still expect a suspension for Hill, with 1 source predicting "a maximum of 4 games," according to Taylor. We're sticking with our projection of 12 games for Hill for now and will continue to keep a close eye on the situation. Hill's ADP is sitting in the mid-5th round in drafts over the past week.

Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill will meet with the NFL about his child-abuse allegations on Wednesday, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Hill won't face legal charges, but that won't necessarily stop the league from handing him a suspension. Hopefully we'll get clarity on Hill's 2019 status soon. He's gone in the mid-5th round in fantasy drafts over the past 2 weeks.

Kevin Kietzman of 810 WHB in Kansas City reports that neither Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill nor his fiancee broke their son's arm. Investigators "quickly agreed with medical staff that the broken bone was the result of typical accident involving a rambunctious toddler, consistent with reaching out to brace for a fall," according to Kietzman, who cited "multiple sources close to the investigation. This doesn't necessarily mean Hill is clear of potential discipline under the NFL personal-conduct policy. But this version of events would sure seem to save Hill's 2019 outlook. He's certainly worth a shot at what figures to remain depressed ADPs in current fantasy football drafts. And we'll all be watching this situation closely through the summer.

NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports that, "barring further developments," Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill is expected to re-join the team by the start of training camp. This comes after the Johnson County District Attorney told the Kansas City Star that the child-abuse investigation into Hill is not an active investigation. Pelissero notes that the league could still place Hill on the Commissioner's Exempt List, which would prohibit him from team activities. And, of course, Hill is still subject to a suspension from the league. So his 2019 status remains murky, but it at least sounds like he's still part of Kansas City's plans. That's good news for his dynasty value.

Speaking Wednesday, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said the league won't interfere with the legal proceedings for Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill's child abuse investigation. "We will obviously be cooperative with whatever the court wants," Goodell continued. "We are prepared to go ahead and have an interview whenever we have the permission to do so and then we’ll go ahead and make a determination based on what information we have at that time.” Hill has not been suspended by the league or put on the Commissioner's Exempt List, but the Chiefs have told him to stay away from team activities. We'll continue to keep a close eye on the situation. Fantasy owners should be drafting right now as if Hill will be suspended 6+ games.

Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill's attorney sent a letter to the NFL denying the child abuse claims against his client. "He [Hill] categorically denies he has ever 'punched' his son in the chest or anywhere on his body, or otherwise touched him in the chest in a mean-spirited manner or as a form of discipline," the letter reads. So far, Hill has only been barred from team activities for the "foreseeable future." But the Chiefs are still looking into the situation, and the Johnson County District Attorney has re-opened the case against Hill. This remains a fluid situation, but we'd still bet on Hill facing a lengthy suspension.

The Chiefs selected Georgia WR Mecole Hardman with the 56th pick of the 2019 NFL Draft. The high school QB moved to WR for the Bulldogs, totaling 60 catches for 961 yards (16.0 YPC) and 11 TDs over the past 2 seasons. He added 13 carries for 97 yards and 2 scores, averaged 15.2 yards per punt return and 25.0 yards per kick return. Hardman goes just 5’10 and 183 pounds but blazed a 4.33-second 40-yard dash. He'll undoubtedly draw Tyreek Hill comparisons now that he’s in Kansas City. This pick feels like a reach to us, but it’s definitely a strong landing spot for Hardman’s fantasy value. He’ll be a riser in the post-draft dynasty rankings.

Chiefs GM Brian Veach said Thursday night that WR Tyreek Hill won't be allowed to participate in team activities for the "foreseeable future." That came after damning audio emerged in relation to the child abuse case Hill was under investigation for. It's unclear if that legal investigation will be re-opened, but Hill is almost certainly looking at discipline from the league -- potentially a lengthy suspension. The Chiefs, of course, released RB Kareem Hunt in November after video surfaced of him pushing and kicking a woman. Hill could face a similar fate.

Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill won't be charged in connection to an incident that left his 3-year-old son with a broken arm, the Johnson County District Attorney announced on Wednesday. The DA added that he believes a crime was committed but can't prove who did it. So Hill is off the legal hook. But the NFL is still investigating the situation, so a suspension remains a possibility. We'll continue to keep a close eye on the situation. Hill has been going in the middle of Round 2 in recent fantasy drafts.

Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill is under investigation for battery, the Kansas City Star reports. The incident reportedly involves Hill's 3-year-old son, who ended up with a broken arm. Hill dropped to the 5th round of the 2016 draft largely because of domestic assault and battery charges back in 2014 that got him dismissed from Oklahoma State. We'll see where this investigation goes and how the NFL reacts.

Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill (heel, wrist) is active for tonight’s game against the Chargers. He played through the injuries last week — effectively — and got in a couple of limited practices this week. He comes with more risk than usual tonight but still boasts big upside.

Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill (heel, wrist) is listed as questionable for Thursday night's game against the Chargers. He played through this injury last week and got in limited practices on Tuesday and Wednesday. Hill is fully expected to play tomorrow night, but we'll find out for sure around 7 pm ET.
