Zach Charbonnet Fantasy Football News | Shark Bites

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Seahawks RB Ken Walker (ankle, calf) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Cardinals. After a limited practice on Wednesday, Walker was sidelined on Thursday and Friday. HC Mike Macdonald said Friday that he’s not sure if Walker will be ready for Sunday’s game. His absence would leave RB Zach Chabonnet in a workhorse role.

Seahawks RB Ken Walker (ankle, calf) did not practice on Thursday. That followed a limited practice on Wednesday. It's unclear if Walker had a setback yesterday or was just getting some rest today. We'll see what we learn from Friday's injury report. Zach Charbonnet would take over as Seattle's lead back vs. the Cardinals if Walker misses Sunday's game.

Seahawks RB Kenneth Walker III dominated RB carries 16-4 in Sunday's win over the Jets. But he ran even with Zach Charbonnet on pass plays. The No. 2 back matched Walker at 12 pass routes and 3 targets. Charbonnet also turned 2 receptions into 13 yards and took his 4 carries for 28 yards and a TD. Walker ran for 49 yards (3.1 per rush) and lost 3 yards on his 2 receptions.

Seahawks RB Kenneth Walker III was downgraded to Questionable due to an illness. It is unknown what the illness is, but any downgrade less than 24 hours before game is not good news. Walker's status for Sunday is in doubt.

Seahawks RB Kenneth Walker III endured a weak fantasy day in Sunday's loss to the Giants. It would have been much worse without a big receiving effort, though. Walker made a team-leading 7 receptions on a team-high 8 targets. He tallied 57 receiving yards, to go with 5 carries for 19 yards.

Seahawks RB Kenneth Walker III took control of the backfield in his return from an oblique injury Monday night. He claimed 86% of the team's RB carries in the loss to the Lions, rushing for 80 yards and 3 TDs on his 12 carries. RB Zach Charbonnet matched Walker with 5 targets but also trailed him in pass routes, 32-19, according to Pro Football Focus.

Seahawks RB Ken Walker (oblique) put in a limited practice on Thursday. We're tentatively projecting him to return for Monday night's game against the Lions, but we'll keep you updated on his progress leading up to that one.

Seahawks RB Ken Walker (oblique) is inactive for today’s game vs. the Dolphins. He returned to a limited practice on Friday, so we’re tentatively expecting him back for Week 4. Walker’s absence today again leaves RB Zach Charbonnet in a workhorse role. He played 95% of Seattle’s offensive snaps last week, handling all 14 RB carries and five targets.

Seahawks RB Ken Walker (oblique) is listed as doubtful for this weekend’s game vs. the Dolphins. He returned to a limited practice on Friday but is a long shot to be ready for Sunday. That’ll leave RB Zach Charbonnet in a workhorse role again. He played 95% of Seattle’s offensive snaps last week, handling all 14 RB carries and five targets. Charbonnet sits high in the Week 3 RB Rankings.

Seahawks RB Ken Walker (oblique) did not practice on Wednesday. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport said Sunday that Seattle will take "extreme caution" with Walker and that he could be looking at a multi-week absence. We're projecting RB Zach Charbonnet to again be a workhorse back in this weekend's game vs. the Dolphins.

Seahawks RB Zach Charbonnet started at RB and ended with a final stat line of 14 rushes for 38 yards and a TD. He also added five catches on five targets for 31 yards. He filled in for the injured RB Kenneth Walker III and did not have a great rushing performance only averaging 2.7 yards per carry, but found the end zone and had success catching the ball.

Seahawks RB Ken Walker (oblique) is inactive for today’s game vs. the Patriots after missing practice all week. We’ll see if he can make it back for Week 3. RB Zach Charbonnet should control backfield work today and is a solid RB2 in fantasy lineups.

Seahawks RB Kenneth Walker III did not practice all week and has been given doubtful status for Week 2. It is highly unlikely that Walker will play against the Patriots, making RB Zach Charbonnet the lead back for the Seahawks with Kenny McIntosh as the back-up

Seahawks RB Ken Walker (oblique) remained sidelined for Thursday's practice. His availability for this weekend's game vs. the Patriots seems up in the air at this point. We'll see how Walker is listed on tomorrow's final injury report. RB Zach Charbonnet would be a plug-and-play fantasy starter if Walker ends up missing Week 2.

Seahawks RB Ken Walker (oblique) did not practice on Wednesday. Both Walker and HC Mike MacDonald have downplayed this injury, but Walker should not be considered a lock to play vs. the Patriots this weekend. His absence would turn Zach Charbonnet into a top-20 fantasy RB. We'll see if Walker is able to get back on the field tomorrow.

Seahawks OC Ryan Grubb called RB Ken Walker a "three-tool guy" and talked up his ability in the passing game.

Seahawks RB Kenneth Walker was the star of Monday's practice in full pads and is impressing the new coaching staff.

The Seahawks are expected to hire Ryan Grubb as their new OC under HC Mike Macdonald, according to multiple reports. This will be Grubb's first NFL coaching job. He's been in the college ranks since 2005, most recently serving as Washington's OC for the last two seasons. Both of those Huskies teams finished top 13 in the nation in both total yards and points per game. They were especially lethal through the air, ranking first and then second in passing yards per game. Grubb joins a Seahawks squad with plenty of passing-game firepower in WRs D.K. Metcalf, Tyler Lockett, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba. QB Geno Smith will very likely be back under center in 2024. We'll see if Seattle reunites Grubb with QB Michael Penix, who was at the helm for Washington the last two years.

Seahawks RB Kenneth Walker (shoulder) only got in a limited practice on Friday this week and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Steelers. He was in the same boat last week, but HC Pete Carroll said then that Walker would play vs. Tennessee. This Friday, he labeled Walker a game-time decision. We'll hopefully get an update on his status on Sunday morning. Seattle's inactives won't come out until a little after 2:30 pm ET. Walker's absence would turn RB Zach Charbonnet into a solid fantasy starter.

Seahawks RB Ken Walker III logged 19 carries for 86 yards and a TD in Week 15’s win vs. the Eagles. The second-year back also added 3 receptions for 26 yards as a receiver in the contest. Since returning in Week 14 after a three-game absence with an oblique injury, Walker III is firmly running ahead of rookie teammate Zach Charbonnet as Seattle’s lead back. In their last two games, he’s out-touched (carries + receptions) Charbonnet 34 to 14 and accounted for an 85.2% snap share of the Seahawks’ early downs in that span. Walker III should again see a hefty amount of work in Week 16 vs. the Titans.
