        Geno Smith A Full-Go Wednesday

        2:46am UTC 12/18/25

Raiders QB Geno Smith (shoulder, back) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice. He should be back under center this weekend but isn't a fantasy option in any format against Houston's top-ranked QB defense. The Raiders are implied for a pathetic 11.75 points.

Brock Bowers Had No Chance This Week

        9:44pm UTC 12/14/25

Raiders TE Brock Bowers led the team in targets, receptions, and receiving yards in Sunday's loss to the Eagles. But that produced just a 6-28-0 receiving line on eight looks. QB Kenny Pickett threw for a mere 64 yards on 15-of-25 passing in place of the injured Geno Smith. RB Ashton Jeanty was the only other Raider to catch more than two passes.

Geno Smith Out For Week 15

        1:29pm UTC 12/13/25

Raiders QB Geno Smith (shoulder, back) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Eagles. HC Pete Carroll said Friday that Smith has a good chance to return for Week 16. But QB Kenny Pickett makes his first start of the season on Sunday. He’s not even a recommended play in 2-QB leagues, although it’s tough to consider Pickett a downgrade considering how poorly Smith has played this season.

Geno Smith Not Expected To Play Week 15

        7:40pm UTC 12/10/25

Raiders QB Geno Smith (shoulder) won't practice on Wednesday and is considered "unlikely" to play vs. the Eagles this weekend, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. That'll put QB Kenny Pickett under center for Vegas. He went 8-of-11 for 97 yards and a score in relief of Smith last week but owns a career 62.5% completion rate and 6.3 yards-per-attempt average. Smith has been mostly bad for the Raiders this year, but don't expect Pickett to be a tangible upgrade. Vegas is implied for a week-low 13.25 points in Philadelphia.

Jack Bech Loads Up on Late Targets

        3:43pm UTC 12/8/25

Raiders rookie WR Jack Bech played a season-high 82% of the snaps in Sunday's loss to the Broncos. He also drew a team-high six targets, catching all of them for 50 yards. That set season highs for Bech in each of those categories. TE Brock Bowers followed with a 4-46 receiving line on five targets. WR Tyler Lockett posted a 3-41 on four targets. WR Tre Tucker caught two of five targets for 24 yards.

Raiders RB Ashton Jeanty stunk in Sunday's loss to the Broncos. He rushed 10 times for 30 yards and caught two balls for 8 yards. Jeanty had saved his PPR lines the previous three weeks with 6+ catches each time in three straight eight-target games.

Raiders QB Geno Smith was knocked out in the second half of Sunday's game vs. the Broncos with a right shoulder injury. He threw for 116 yards and a score before exiting. QB Kenny Pickett handled mop up duty, completing 5 of 7 passes for 64 yards and 1 TD. We'll look for more info on Smith's injury, but this will continue to be a QB room to avoid in fantasy lineups.

He caught four balls for a game-high 63 yards and the team's only two TDs. Only RB Ashton Jeanty drew more targets. Thank Goodness for Ashton Jeanty's Receiving

        1:43am UTC 12/1/25

Raiders RB Ashton Jeanty assumed his usual role dominating the backfield Sunday against the Chargers, shaking off the ankle injury that knocked him out of the previous game (but didn't land him on the Week 13 injury report). Unfortunately for fantasy managers, he also continued his usual poor ground production, managing a mere 31 yards on 15 carries (2.1 per rush). Fortunately for PPR formats, Jeanty tallied a team-high 6 receptions for 30 yards on a team-leading eight targets.

He was knocked out late in last Sunday's game with an ankle injury but is evidently in no danger of missing this weekend's game vs. the Chargers. Jeanty's rushing efficiency has remained putrid lately, but he's racked up 22 catches on 26 targets over his last four games.

        Raiders Fire OC Chip Kelly

        12:49pm UTC 11/24/25

The Raiders fired OC Chip Kelly. He became the highest-paid coordinator in the NFL back in February and winds up lasting just 11 games. Vegas ranks 31st in points per game (15.0), 30th in total yards per game (268.9) and 30th in offensive EPA (-77.8). In Kelly's defense, QB Geno Smith has played poorly for most of the season, the offensive line is trash, and TE Brock Bowers was banged up for most of the first two months. The QB play and offensive line aren't changing the rest of the way, so Kelly's departure is unlikely to matter for fantasy football purposes. The Raiders have not yet named an interim OC.

Smith battled through the injury but could barely move. Asked whether the injury could cost Smith time going forward, Carroll said, "I don’t know that. It’s a thigh bruise. It’s not like some other injuries, it’s not one that he can’t get back from." Smith gets 10 days to heal up before the Raiders host the Cowboys on Monday Night Football in Week 11. 1:59pm UTC 11/7/25

Brock Bowers' fantasy owners were feeling good after his monster Week 9. Those warm and fuzzies quickly went away after he managed just one catch for 31 yards in Thursday night's loss to the Broncos. Bowers was simply invisible for much of this game. His lone target in the first quarter fell incomplete. There was another incompletion in Bowers' direction early in the second quarter. He ran away from rookie DB Jahdae Barron on a crossing route later in the second for a 31-yard gain -- Vegas' biggest play of the night. And that was it. Not another target for Bowers over the final 2.5 quarters. His only other touch came on a jet sweep that was blown up for a four-yard loss by EDGE Nick Bonitto.

Volume, TD Fuel Decent Week 10 For Ashton Jeanty

        1:43pm UTC 11/7/25

Raiders RB Ashton Jeanty found little room to run against the Broncos on Thursday night, averaging just 3.2 yards per carry. But he was fed 19 times, compiling 60 rushing yards. That included a four-yard TD in the first quarter. Jeanty was similarly inefficient in the passing game, catching three of five targets for three yards. He lost seven yards on a blown-up screen and had a ball bounce off his hands and turn into an INT.
