NFL Network's Mike Garafolo hears that Eagles WR A.J. Brown's knee injury is not believed to be serious. Brown was reportedly the first to greet players in the locker room after the loss to the Giants. It's all good news -- but doesn't necessarily mean that Brown will be available for next weekend's Wild Card game vs. the Bucs. We should learn more about his status on Monday.

Eagles QB Jalen Hurts was pulled near the end of the first half of Sunday's game vs. the Giants. He injured his right finger earlier in the game, returned for a few series, and then was yanked with Philly down 24-0. We'll look for updates on that finger injury, but Hurts should be ready for next weekend's Wild Card game vs. the Buccaneers. QB Marcus Mariota will finish out this game for the Eagles.

Eagles WR A.J. Brown suffered an apparent right knee injury in the first quarter of Sunday's game vs. the Giants. We'll update his status when we know more.

Update: Brown is officially questionable to return.

Eagles WR DeVonta Smith (ankle) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Giants. He didn’t practice all week, which puts his availability for the Wild Card round in question. Julio Jones figures to step in as Philadelphia’s No. 2 WR on Sunday.

Eagles WR DeVonta Smith (ankle) did not practice on Wednesday. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport said earlier this week that Smith's ankle sprain is not serious, but he's certainly not a lock to be ready for Sunday's game vs. the Giants. We'll update Smith's status again tomorrow.

Eagles HC Nick Sirianni said Monday that he'll consider sitting some starters in Sunday's regular-season finale vs. the Giants. Philly can win the NFC East only if the Cowboys lose to the Commanders -- a game in which Dallas is currently favored by 13. If the Cowboys win, the Eagles are locked into the No. 5 seed. "I'm not saying yes, I'm not saying no. I'm saying everything's discussed," Sirianni said of his starters playing on Sunday. Hopefully we have a clearer idea of the plan by the end of this week.

The Eagles believe WR DeVonta Smith has just a "mild" ankle sprain, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. "He’ll have more tests today, but not considered a major injury," Rapoport adds. It's relatively good news, although Smith's availability for this weekend's regular-season finale vs. the Giants remains uncertain. We'll keep you updated on his status.

Eagles QB Jalen Hurts completed 18 of 23 passes for 167 yards and 3 TDs with 1 INT in Week 17 vs. the Cardinals. He added 25 yards on 8 carries. Hurts has posted multiple TDs in 15 of 16 games this season. His rushing yards per game have dipped from 37.6 to 50.6, but Hurts has also already increased his rushing TDs for the third straight year. Ignore any fears of the NFL outlawing Philly's "Tush Push," and continue valuing Hurts as a top-shelf dynasty QB. If you don't have Hurts on your roster already and the league does outlaw some aspect of the "Tush Push," consider making an offer for the Eagles QB. His rushing upside isn't going anywhere.

Giants RB Saquon Barkley struggled in Week 17, posting 58 scrimmage yards on 15 touches against the Rams. This performance is emblematic of the rough go the veteran had in 2023. Barkley missed four games due to an ankle injury and was only able to be healthy to play in three games with QB Daniel Jones (torn ACL in Week 9). Still, he averaged 88.1 scrimmage yards per game this season, a slight downtick from 103.1 in 2022. Barkley also totaled an average of 20.6 touches per game across 13 contests and showed his ability to maintain a sizeable workload. He’ll enter 2024 as a 27-year-old free agent and likely be able to hold low-end RB1/high-end RB2 dynasty value for the next couple of seasons.

Eagles WR DeVonta Smith was on crutches and had his right foot in a boot after Sunday's loss to the Cardinals. Teams often put injured ankles in walking boots after games, so this doesn't necessarily mean that Smith is dealing with a significant injury. But he might be. We should get an update on his status within the next 24 hours.

Eagles WR DeVonta Smith got rolled up on late in Sunday's loss to the Cardinals. He headed back to the locker room with trainers and did not return. The team never announced an injury. We'll update Smith's status when we know more.

The Buccaneers started LB K.J. Britt in place of Devin White once again Sunday against the Jaguars. But Britt played just 3 snaps for the team while White took the other 63. That followed three straight inactive games for White and two weeks of at least 90% playing time for Britt. The down stretch for White started with an injury but then included the LB reportedly telling the team he couldn't go in Week 15 after being told Britt would keep getting playing time. Back in his old role against Jacksonville, White delivered cross-category production. He tallied a meager 4 tackles (2 solos) but added a half-sack among 2 QB hits, plus an INT among 2 passes defensed. According to FOX Sports' Greg Auman, co-DC Kacy Rodgers said before the game that White and Britt would both play "big roles" in the game. That it only proved true for White and he delivered a nice performance should mean a similar role in Week 17. You'll find White back in our LB rankings this week.

Eagles TE Dallas Goedert roped in 7 of 9 targets for 71 receiving yards vs. the Cowboys in Week 16. Monday evening’s contest marks the second game in a row that he’s seen 9 targets in a game. Since returning from a broken forearm in Week 14, Goedert ranks second on the Eagles in target share (23.4%) and will look to ride this momentum into Week 17 vs. the Cardinals. Though Arizona ranks as the fifth-toughest TE matchup per our adjusted fantasy points allowed this season, Goedert has seen a hefty amount of involvement in the Eagles’ passing game of late. He should be able to find his way into low-end TE1 status based on volume, but just be sure to temper expectations.

The Eagles have removed WR DeVonta Smith (knee) from the injury report. He'll be fine for Monday's matchup with the Giants. Currently, he projects as a top-20 WR.

Eagles WR DeVonta Smith (knee) missed his second straight practice on Friday. We still don't have any details on the knee issue. We'll see if Smith practices on Saturday and how he's listed on the final injury report for Monday's game vs. the Giants.

Eagles WR DeVonta Smith (knee) did not practice on Thursday. We don't have any other details on the knee, but Smith has an extra day to get ready for Monday's game vs. the Giants. We'll update his status again tomorrow.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported on Thursday afternoon that Steelers QB Kenny Pickett (ankle) has been officially ruled out for Week 16 vs. the Bengals. Although Pickett had been able to log limited practice participation on Tuesday and Wednesday, it was widely anticipated that he would not make his return this week. HC Mike Tomlin had already named Mason Rudolph as the team's starter for Saturday several days ago, which lines up with our projections. Unless you are in desperation mode, it's best to leave Rudolph out of fantasy lineups. See where he lands in our current QB rankings.

Steelers QB Kenny Pickett (ankle) got in a limited practice on Tuesday. HC Mike Tomlin named QB Mason Rudolph the Week 16 starter on Monday but also didn't rule out Pickett being able to return. We'll keep an eye on his progress over the next few days, but hopefully you're not invested in this situation in fantasy lineups.

Eagles QB Jalen Hurts completed 17 of 31 passes for 143 yards with 2 INTs in Week 15 vs. the Seahawks. He’d entered the game listed as ‘Questionable’ due to an illness and certainly struggled as a passer on Monday night. Fortunately, Hurts’ 82 rushing yards and pair of scores as a runner helped to mask those deficiencies and elevate his fantasy performance. Managers should feel comfortable rolling out Hurts again in Week 16 in a soft matchup vs. the Giants (25th in total defense DVOA in 2023).

Eagles QB Jalen Hurts (illness) is active for tonight’s game vs. the Seahawks. He was so sick on Sunday that his status for this one was reportedly in real doubt. It’s possible that the illness is a factor in this one. But if you waited on Hurts, get him in your lineup.
