The Falcons fired HC Raheem Morris, according to multiple reports. Atlanta went 8-9 in each of Morris' two seasons, failing to reach the playoffs either year. OC Zac Robinson will likely be gone, too, although that hasn't been confirmed. The Falcons have elite offensive building blocks in RB Bijan Robinson and WR Drake London, plus an above-average offensive line. The defense flashed at times this season, even though it tailed off over the second half. QB is the big question mark for this team going forward after Michael Penix's season ended with yet another knee injury. We'll see who the Falcons tab to replace Morris and Robinson, but this team certainly has upside in 2026 and beyond.

Falcons HC Raheem Morris called WR Drake London (knee) "doubtful" for this weekend's game vs. the Jets. It's not surprising that London will miss multiple games with his PCL injury. He's worth keeping stashed in all fantasy leagues but should be on benches for Week 13. WR Darnell Mooney, TE Kyle Pitts, and RB Bjian Robinson will be the best target bets for the Falcons in New York on Sunday.

Colts DT DeForest Buckner won't travel to Germany with the team for Sunday morning's game against the Falcons, according to multiple reports. Buckner's dealing with a neck injury. Fortunately, he'll get a Week 11 bye on the other side of this game to rest it. We'll see whether anything else comes out about Buckner missing further time.

Falcons QB Michael Penix (knee) is off the final Week 9 injury report and will start Sunday’s game vs. the Patriots. It’s good news for Atlanta’s offense after what we saw from QB Kirk Cousins last week, but Penix is no better than a lower-end QB2 in fantasy lineups.

RBs Tyler Allgeier and Cordarrelle Patterson combined for 19 carries and four targets. It was a major letdown and surprise after Robinson averaged 16.5 carries and 5.0 targets over his previous four games. Fantasy owners who survived this dud will need to go back to Robinson in Week 16, barring any news about an injury that we haven't heard about yet. The rookie gets a plus matchup vs. the Colts' 31st-ranked RB defense. Week 17 brings a much tougher draw vs. Chicago.
