The Buccaneers on Saturday added RB Rachaad White to the injury report as questionable with a knee issue. White didn’t turn up on any of the week’s practice reports, so this issue must have arisen at some point since Friday’s practice. We’ll obviously need to watch White’s status up until game time against the Colts. If he can’t go, Chase Edmonds looks like the next guy up. He was the only other Bucs RB to play any offensive snaps last week. Edmonds played just 21%, though, and White has dominated backfield touches all season. We’d bet on more of a committee in his absence than Edmonds taking over that role. Edmonds can work as an insurance option, though, if you don’t have a better replacement available

Buccaneers RB Chase Edmonds is having an MRI today on an MCL injury that knocked him out of Sunday's win over the Bears. Edmonds missing further time could only help rookie RB Sean Tucker, who already edged the vet in Week 1 playing time. Ke'Shawn Vaughn would likely find a role with Edmonds out as well. Rachaad White remained the clear lead back in Week 2.

Broncos RB Marlon Mack will miss Sunday's finale vs. the Chargers with the hamstring injury he suffered in Week 17, according to insider Mike Klis. That'll leave Denver's backfield to Latavius Murray and Chase Edmonds. Murray tallied 12 carries and 6 targets to Edmonds' 7 carries and 3 targets in last week's loss to the Chiefs.

Broncos RB Chase Edmonds left Week 11 with an ankle injury. He’s officially questionable to return.

Update: Edmonds has been ruled out.

The Dolphins are sending RB Chase Edmonds and 2 draft picks to the Broncos for EDGE Bradley Chubb. The Broncos are getting a 2023 first-rounder that initially belonged to San Francisco, as well as a 4th-rounder in 2024. Miami will get a 5th-rounder in 2025. Chubb upgrades a Dolphins pass rush that ranks just 23rd in sacks and has dealt with some injuries. He's in the final year of his rookie deal, so we'd bet on an extension following. Edmonds played his way out of the starting backfield gig in Miami but lands in a Denver offense that presents opportunity. We'll see about the team's RB plans coming out of the Week 9 bye, though we wouldn't bet on any of the Denver backs truly taking over. Chubb's departure should mean more playing time for 2nd-round rookie EDGE Nik Bonitto, who has 1.5 sacks over his past 2 games. Myles Gaskin looks like the #2 RB in Miami now.

Dolphins RB Chase Edmonds (groin) is not listed on the final Week 1 injury report. He was limited on Wednesday but put in full practices on Thursday and Friday. Edmonds is a borderline RB2 in PPR leagues in Sunday's matchup with a Patriots defense that struggled against RBs in the passing game last year.

Dolphins RB Chase Edmonds (groin) was limited in Wednesday's practice. It's the first we've heard of the injury. We're still tentatively expecting Edmonds to play vs. the Patriots on Sunday, but we'll keep an eye on his status over the next few days. Edmonds' absence would turn Raheem Mostert into Miami's lead back.

Dolphins RB Raheem Mostert (knee) "might not be ready for Week 1," according to ESPN's Marcel Louis-Jacques, because he's "still recovering from a late-season knee injury." That's news to us. Mostert had surgery in September to address a knee cartilage issue, but there had been no reports of a "late-season" injury. The 30-year-old has played in just 9 games over the past 2 seasons and is tough to like as more than a late-round flier in fantasy drafts. Dolphins RBs Chase Edmonds and Sony Michel are more attractive picks. We'll keep an eye on Mostert's status leading up to the opener.

Cardinals RBs Chase Edmonds (ribs, toe) and James Conner (ribs) are active for tonight's Wild Card game vs. the Rams. Edmonds looks like the healthier of the 2 after getting in a full practice on Saturday and being left off the final injury report. Conner only got in a limited practice on Saturday and was listed as questionable.

Cardinals RB Chase Edmonds (ribs, toe) missed his 2nd straight practice on Thursday. RB James Conner (heel) remained limited but suddenly looks like the healthier RB in Arizona. We'll see what these guys do on Friday and how they're listed on the final injury report for Sunday's game vs. Seattle.

Cardinals RB Chase Edmonds (ankle) has been activated from IR. He's on track to play vs. the Lions on Sunday -- his 1st action since suffering a high-ankle sprain in Week 9. Edmonds averaged 9.4 carries and 4.6 targets in the 8 games prior and should see at least that much work vs. Detroit with RB James Conner dealing with an ankle injury.

Cardinals RB Chase Edmonds suffered an ankle injury in the 1st quarter of Sunday's game against the 49ers. He's officially questionable to return. We'll pass along an update when we get one.

Cardinals RB Chase Edmonds injured his right arm in the 4th quarter of Thursday night's game vs. the Packers. This might be related to the shoulder injury he dealt with earlier this month. We'll update his status when we know more.

Update: Edmonds returned just a few plays later.

Cardinals RB Chase Edmonds (shoulder) is not listed on the final Week 7 injury report. He put in a full practice on Friday for the 1st time since hurting that shoulder back in Week 4. That might mean Edmonds is ready for his normal role after being limited the past 2 weeks.

2:40pm EDT 10/17/21

Cardinals RB Chase Edmonds (shoulder) is active for today’s game vs. the Browns. Edmonds played through this injury last week but tallied a season-low 6 carries and matched a season low with 4 targets. He’s a risky Week 6 fantasy play.

Cardinals RB Chase Edmonds (shoulder) is expected to play vs. the Browns today, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Edmonds played through this injury last week but was seemingly limited, finishing with just 6 carries and 4 targets. That makes him a risky fantasy starter today.

Cardinals RB Chase Edmonds (shoulder) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Browns. Edmonds played through this injury last week but tallied a season-low 6 carries and matched a season low with 4 targets. He’s a risky Week 6 fantasy play.

Cardinals RB Chase Edmonds (shoulder) is expected to play vs. the 49ers today, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. Edmonds is listed as questionable after only getting in a limited practice on Friday. There's still some risk that he's limited today and/or aggravates that shoulder injury.
