NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reports that the Cowboys are signing RB Corey Clement to the active roster. The former Eagle spent training camp and the preseason with the Giants but didn't make the 53-man roster. He'll obviously land behind Ezekiel Elliott and Tony Pollard on the Dallas depth chart, but that 3rd spot is open. We're not particularly interested in Clement for any fantasy football format, though.
The Ravens on Monday reached a deal with RB Corey Clement. Baltimore is opening training camp with J.K. Dobbins and Gus Edwards on the PUP list, as both work back from summer 2021 ACL tears. We'll see whether Clement can actually compete for a regular-season roster spot.
The Giants released RB Corey Clement. It looked like he might be pushing for the #2 RB role early in camp, but Clement (predictably) faded. Devontae Booker is locked in as Saquon Barkley's handcuff. Rookie RB Gary Brightwell is currently the #3.
Eagles RB Corey Clement has been placed on IR with the knee sprain suffered in last week's loss to the Cowboys. Philly signed RB Boston Scott to take Clement's place on the roster, but Scott will be behind Josh Adams, Darren Sproles and Wendell Smallwood on the depth chart.
Eagles RB Corey Clement injured his knee in the 1st half of Sunday's game against the Cowboys and is officially questionable to return. His absence should mean some more work for RB Darren Sproles behind RB Josh Adams.
Update: Clement has been ruled out.
Eagles RB Corey Clement (quad) was listed as a full participant in Monday's practice, putting him on track to return for Thursday night's game against the Giants. It's especially notable with RB Jay Ajayi out for the year. Clement was running clearly ahead of RB Wendell Smallwood over the season's first 3 weeks. We'll see what the split looks like on Thursday. Consider both Clement and Smallwood risk/reward RB3s for Week 6. RB Darren Sproles (hamstring) remained sidelined on Monday.
