Bridgewater believed to have broken finger

Dolphins QB Teddy Bridgewater is believed to have a broken finger on his right hand, according to Pro Football Talk. PFT's Mike Florio said on the Sunday Night Football pregame show that QB Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) is not expected to be cleared for Week 18. That means it'll likely be Skylar Thompson under center in next Sunday's must-win game vs. the Jets.

The Lions are signing QB Teddy Bridgewater, according to multiple reports. Bridgewater figures to back up Jared Goff. The timing of his addition could signal that Detroit wanted to see if rookie QB Hendon Hooker or journeyman Nate Sudfeld could fill that role.
