Eagles WR A.J. Brown hit a bump in Week 11, hauling in just 1 of 4 targets for 8 receiving yards vs. the Chiefs. For as disappointing as this performance is, crummy weather impacted pass-catchers on both teams. Yes, Eagles wideout DeVonta Smith (6 catches for 99 yards) had a fine outing, but he was the only player to amass greater than 60 receiving yards in this contest. So don’t let this showing stop you from going right back to Brown as a top-flight WR1 in Week 12 vs. the Bills. Remember: the superstar had posted no fewer than 18.7 PPR points in a game since Week 2 prior to Monday night.
Eagles lead WR A.J. Brown caught five passes Sunday for just 37 yards. But he snagged one of three TD passes from QB Jalen Hurts in an inconsistent passing performance against the Bills. And his 9 targets edged WR DeVonta Smith for the team lead, in a game that saw the two wideouts draw a target on 54.8% of Hurts' pass attempts. It wasn't the kind of performance you expect from Brown, but the output shouldn't concern you going forward -- especially considering the rainy conditions. Philly's remaining schedule holds a negative Week 14 spot against the Cowboys, but the other four games all feature positive ratings by our adjusted fantasy points allowed.
Eagles WR A.J. Brown continued to roll in Sunday’s win over Washington, snagging all 8 targets for 130 yards and 2 scores. He’s now the first WR in league history to reach 125+ yards in six straight. Brown’s physical dominance really showed up, especially on a pair of end zone TDs. He’ll continue to rank as a top-three WR for Sunday’s showdown vs. Dallas.
Eagles WR A.J. Brown's 137 receiving yards against the Dolphins on Sunday night made five straight games of 125+ yards for him. That ties a record set by Pat Studstill in 1966 and matched by Calvin Johnson in 2012 -- both as Lions. Brown's 809 receiving yards through seven games trails only Tyreek Hill's 902 and puts him on pace for 1,965 for the season. Next comes a meeting with the league's worst WR defense to date: the Washington Commanders.
Eagles WR A.J. Brown hauled 10 of 15 targets for 137 receiving yards and a TD in Week 7’s victory over the Dolphins. This marks the fifth consecutive game that Brown has recorded at least 100 receiving yards, by far the longest streak of his NFL career. TE Dallas Goedert also shined on Sunday night, finishing the contest with 5 catches for 77 yards and a receiving TD. Despite being limited by a hamstring injury in practice this week, DeVonta Smith compiled 4 catches for 49 receiving yards. This trio of pass-catchers will have a tremendous opportunity to produce for fantasy managers again in Week 8 vs. a struggling Commanders secondary.
Eagles WR A.J. Brown racked up 131 yards on 7 receptions in Sunday's loss to the Jets. He checked in just third on the team in targets (9), as QB Jalen Hurts attempted a season-high 45 passes. Brown's 7 receptions also trailed RB D'Andre Swift by 1. But his yardage nearly tripled everyone else on the team. WR DeVonta Smith ranked second with 44 yards on 5 receptions. It was Brown's fourth straight game of 127+ yards. Matchups with Miami and Washington the next two weeks hold nothing intimidating.
