Browns TE David Njoku was predictably busy in Sunday's loss to the Bengals. He saw a 27% target share, as a trio of Cleveland QBs -- Deshaun Watson, Dorian Thompson-Robinson, and Jameis Winston -- attempted double-digit passes.
The Browns lost Watson on Sunday to a likely Achilles tear. Days prior, they shipped Amari Cooper and his 9 targets per game to Buffalo.
So, Njoku stepped up in a big way. His TD came from Jameis Winston on an end zone ball. Thompson-Robinson actually took over for Watson, but the second-year QB was forced from the game with a finger injury.
