The Raiders might not have EDGE Chandler Jones or LB Denzel Perryman in the lineup any more this season. Jones left Saturday night's loss to the Steelers with an elbow injury that found him carted from the sideline to the locker room. LB Denzel Perryman dislocated his left shoulder in the game. HC Josh McDaniels told reporters Monday that each player might miss the rest of the season, according to The Athletic's Tashan Reed. The Raiders are still not yet officially eliminated from the playoffs, but that seems likely to happen in Week 17. Barring some shift in the diagnosis for either player, we'd bet surprised to see either back on the field this season.

NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports that EDGE Chandler Jones is finalizing a deal with the Raiders that's expected to average $17 million a year. Jones has delivered 10+ sacks in every season since 2013 that has seen him play at least 10 games. His 10.5 sacks last year marked his low for that span, though, and Jones' 47 total pressures tied for just 44th in the league, according to Pro Football Focus. He'll start opposite Maxx Crosby for a Vegas team that is reportedly trading Yannick Ngakoue. Jones turned 32 in February, so we wouldn't be surprised if his production declines further. On the positive side, moving to the Raiders defense should mean DE eligibility rather than LB in fantasy football leagues that rely on those designations. We'll see about Jones' draft price in IDP leagues this summer.

The Cardinals on Monday activated EDGE Chandler Jones from the COVID list. Their lead pass rusher missed the past 2 games but should be available for Thursday night's clash with the Packers. Arizona also activated DE Zach Allen from the COVID list.

Cardinals EDGE Chandler Jones will not come off the COVID list in time for Sunday’s game against the Texans, according to Darren Urban of the team website.

Cardinals LB Jordan Hicks (toe) is active for today's game against the Browns. He missed practice Wednesday and Thursday before returning for a limited Friday workout and appeared truly questionable. Don't be surprised if we see fewer snaps than usual, but Hicks is available if you got here planning to use him in IDP lineups. CBs Byron Murphy (ribs) and Marco Wilson (ribs) are also active after arriving questionable. The defense will be without EDGE Chandler Jones, who is on the COVID list.

Cardinals OLB Chandler Jones will miss the rest of the season after surgery to repair his right biceps. Jones suffered the injury in Sunday's win over the Jets. Kylie Fitts replaced him and figures to start going forward. Fitts is a 3rd-year player the Bears drafted in Round 6 in 2018. He brings a 78th-percentile speed score but posted just 1 good season of college production. We'll see how he fares, but Fitts isn't on the IDP radar right now.

Cardinals OLB Chandler Jones left Sunday's win over the Jets early with a biceps injury. The Cardinals expect Jones to miss some time, though it's not yet clear how much. It appears that Jones is weighing his options and hoping to not miss the rest of the season. We'll keep an eye out for a return timeline. In the meantime, make sure you get a replacement for your IDP roster. Kylie Fitts came on for Jones against the Jets. He collected 3 tackles (2 solo) and 2 hurries.

New Cardinals HC Steve Wilks confirmed Tuesday his team will be switching to a 4-3 base defense this season, according to Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic. Wilks reportedly said a key factor in the change is allowing edge guys Chandler Jones and Markus Golden to rush the passer every down. That's the big news here for IDP owners as well. The switch should mean that we'll get DE designations for Jones and Golden in fantasy football leagues in 2018, which would dramatically increase their value. Jones, of course, led the NFL with 17 sacks last season and is no secret as a top pass rusher. Golden much more quietly racked up 12.5 sacks, 16 total tackles for loss and 22 total QB hits in 2016 before missing most of last season with a torn right ACL. He'll be a solid shot to take late in IDP drafts this summer -- especially if he gets that DL designation.

The Patriots on Tuesday traded DE Chandler Jones to the Cardinals for G Jonathan Cooper and a 2nd-round draft pick. Jones figures to play a 3-4 OLB spot for the Cardinals, which will hurt his IDP value wherever his designation changes. New England can start Jabaal Sheard and Rob Ninkovich on the edges and drafted DEs Geneo Grissom (3rd round) and Trey Flowers (4th) last year. The Pats also had free agent Chris Long in for a visit Monday. Adding Jones can only help an Arizona D that was already good for fantasy with a poor pass rush last season.

The Patriots will have DE Chandler Jones (abdomen, toe), LB Jamie Collins (back), LB Dont'a Hightower (knee) and DE Rob Ninkovich (shin) active for today's AFC Championship game at Denver. All carried "questionable" tags, but Collins was the only iffy player after suffering his injury in the win over the Chiefs. That situation adds risk to him as an IDP play in fantasy football lineups this weekend. Jones also played a more limited role last week than usual and is more boom/bust than when at full health. The New England defense carries lots of turnover upside, however, against a Denver offense that threw the league's most INTs this year.

The Patriots list LB Jamie Collins (back), LB Dont'a Hightower (knee), DE Chandler Jones (abdomen, toe) and DE Rob Ninkovich (shin) as questionable for Sunday's game in Denver. Ninkovich and Hightower played through their issues for regular snaps last week and should be just fine for the game. Collins suffered his injury against the Chiefs but is expected to play. Jones played through his issues last week as well but in a more limited role than usual. He's not a good IDP option. We'll check on the status for all before Sunday's game, but the Patriots defense carries plenty of upside against a Denver team that threw the league's most INTs during the regular season.

Patriots DE Chandler Jones had to go to the hospital Saturday after overdosing on unspecified pills, according to Chris Curtis of WEEI in Boston. The nature of the pills could lead to issues with the league. We'll see where that goes. We'll assume that Jones will be ready for Saturday's game against the Chiefs unless we hear otherwise.

The New England defense could be missing some key pieces at Miami on Sunday. The Patriots have ruled out DE Chandler Jones (toe) and LB Dont'a Hightower (knee) and deemed DE Rob Ninkovich (shin) questionable. Ninkovich only practiced Thursday this week. The moves make DE Jabaal Sheard the best IDP bet on the New England D-line and chip away at the defense's upside. The matchup with a reeling Dolphins offense keeps the Patriots among the most attractive fantasy targets for the week, though. Safeties Patrick Chung (foot) and Devin McCourty (ankle) are also questionable after missing last week's loss to the Jets.

Patriots DE Chandler Jones has been seen on crutches recently as he rehabs from post-Super Bowl surgery, according to ESPN Boston. We haven't seen details on the procedure, but those close to Jones reportedly say there's no long-term concern. Jones lost 6 games last year to a hip injury. We'll keep an eye on his status once on-field workouts begin.

As expected, the Patriots will have DE Chandler Jones, DE Rob Ninkovich and LB Dont'a Hightower available for today's game against the Jets. All entered the day as questionable but played full roles last week with their current issues. All look good for IDP use today.

The Patriots will welcome DE Chandler Jones back to the lineup today. He's active after missing 6 games with a hip injury. He still has yet to put in a full practice, however, and makes for a risk-reward fantasy play. You'll need to figure out how much risk you're comfy with. LB Dont'a Hightower is also active after sitting out last week with a shoulder injury. He's fine to use in your IDP lineup. And DE Rob Ninkovich is active -- as expected -- after a heel injury limited his practice time all week.
