The NFL announced that a neutral-site Bills vs. Chiefs AFC Championship game would be held at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. Yes ... that'd be Josh Allen vs. Patrick Mahomes in a dome to go to the Super Bowl. Bills-Chiefs produced 62 points in the playoffs 2 years ago and 78 points last year -- with both games coming outside at Arrowhead Stadium.

Chiefs RB Jerick McKinnon caught another 2 TD passes in Sunday's win over the Broncos, the 2nd time this season he has tallied 2 receiving scores against Denver. McKinnon's TDs came from 6 and 3 yards out this time. It was his 5th straight game with at least 1 score and 3rd 2-TD game among the past 4. McKinnon and the Chiefs face a weak Raiders defense in Week 18.

Chiefs RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire (high-ankle sprain) appears to be nearing a return from IR. HC Andy Reid said ahead of Saturday's win over Seattle that CEH is "working his tail off" and "getting close," according to Pete Sweeney of Arrowhead Pride. We're certainly not playing to stick Edwards-Helaire back into fantasy football lineups this season. But he could complicate the work split for RBs Jerick McKinnon and Isiah Pacheco if he gets back to the active roster for Week 17 or 18.

Chiefs RB Jerick McKinnon scored from 9 yards out among his 3 catches for 31 yards in Saturday's win over the Seahawks. That marks his 4th straight game with at least 1 TD and his 6th TD over that span. McKinnon totaled just 8 touches for 38 yards in this one, so he's still not a safe bet if he doesn't get TD luck. Week 17 holds a rematch with the Broncos, who allowed McKinnon 7-112-2 receiving line in their Week 14 meeting. Chiefs RB Isiah Pacheco added 58 yards on 14 carries, plus a catch for 32 yards.

Chiefs RB Jerick McKinnon scored via run and pass in Sunday's win over the Texans. McKinnon carried 10 times for 52 yards, finding the end zone from 26 yards out. He also caught all 8 of his targets for 70 yards, including a 20-yard 2nd-quarter score. That makes 5 TDs in 3 games for McKinnon, who should probably just stay in fantasy football lineups. His 18 opportunities against Houston marked a season high for the 2nd straight week. RB Isiah Pacheco led the team with 15 carries for 86 yards against Houston, adding an 11-yard catch on his lone target.

Chiefs RB Jerick McKinnon caught a season-high 7 passes in Sunday's win over the Broncos. He turned those into 112 yards and 2 TDs. The big strike came when QB Patrick Mahomes made an underhanded flip to evade defenders that turned into a 56-yard score. McKinnon added a 10-yard score later in the 2nd quarter. He sat tied with JuJu Smith-Schuster for 2nd on the team in targets at halftime and finished tied with Travis Kelce for 2nd (with 9). It marked the 4th time in the past 6 games that McKinnon drew 6+ looks and the 2nd straight game he reached 10 opportunities. (McKinnon added 6 carries for 22 yards against Denver.) Isiah Pacheco added 70 yards on 13 carries and 3-23 receiving on 3 targets vs. the Broncos. The Chiefs get a high-ceiling rushing matchup with the Texans in Week 15.

Chiefs RB Isiah Pacheco ran for 66 yards and a TD on 14 carries in Sunday's loss to the Bengals, adding 16 yards on 2 receptions. RB Jerick McKinnon carried 8 times for 51 yards and caught a 2-yard TD among 2 receptions for 9 yards. Kansas City leaned more on the run, handing to RBs 22 times vs. just 27 Patrick Mahomes pass attempts. Week 14 holds a Denver defense that has been a worse RB-scoring matchup than Cincinnati. But after that comes better matchups with Houston and Seattle.

Chiefs RB Jerick McKinnon (hamstring) is not listed on the final Week 13 injury report. He didn’t practice on Wednesday or Thursday but was a full-go on Friday. So McKinnon will evidently be ready for his usual pass-catching role vs. the Bengals this weekend.

Chiefs RB Jerick McKinnon (hamstring) missed practice on Thursday. That’s back to back missed practices for the veteran. We’ll see if he’s able to return on Friday ahead of a huge Sunday showdown with Cincinnati.

Chiefs RB Jerick McKinnon (hamstring) did not practice on Wednesday. If he's unable to play vs. the Bengals this weekend, Kansas City would be down its pass-catching back -- and an average of 5.8 targets per game over the last 4. We'll get another update on McKinnon tomorrow.

Chiefs RB Isiah Pacheco racked up 22 carries in Sunday's win over the Rams but managed just 69 yards (3.1 per rush). He saved his fantasy line with a 3-yard TD in the 3rd quarter, his 2nd score of the year. Ronald Jones claimed the only 4 other RB carries for the game and caught his only target, matching Pacheco on that front. RB Jerick McKinnon drew 6 targets -- tying for 2nd on the team -- and caught 3 balls for 26 yards. Pacheco has now seen 15+ carries in 3 straight games.

Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes didn't have his sharpest outing in Sunday's win over the Rams. He did throw for 320 yards, hitting 10 different teammates with no Chief collecting more than 57 receiving yards. TE Travis Kelce led in yards and targets (8), claiming the TD among his 4 catches. Rookie WR Skyy Moore led the team with 5 catches (for just 36 yards) among 6 targets. WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling was the only other Chief to catch more than 3 balls or crack 40 yards.

Chiefs RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire has been placed on IR with his high-ankle sprain. He'll miss at least the next 4 weeks and can be dropped from redraft rosters. We'll see if CEH's absence gets RB Ronald Jones on Kansas City's active roster on game days, but this now figures to be a 2-man backfield with Isiah Pacheco and Jerick McKinnon.

Chiefs RB Isiah Pacheco racked up 107 yards on 15 carries in Sunday night's win over the Chargers. It marked the rookie's 2nd straight game with at least 15 carries and 80+ yards. Clyde Edwards-Helaire appeared headed for a larger role than in Week 10 before an ankle injury sidelined him. RB Jerick McKinnon led the backfield in snaps but saw most of that work in the passing game. Pacheco and the Chiefs get worse rushing matchups over the next 3 games. An enticing date with the Texans awaits in Week 15, though.

Chiefs RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire is out for the rest of Sunday night's game vs. the Chargers after suffering a 1st-half ankle injury. That leaves Kansas City's backfield to Isiah Pacheco and Jerick McKinnon.

Chiefs RB Isiah Pacheco handled 16 of 17 team RB carries in Sunday’s win over Jacksonville. He looked spry with 3.69 YAC per attempt, per Pro Football Focus. Shockingly, backfield mate Clyde Edwards-Helaire mixed in for only 4 snaps. Jerick McKinnon handled 23 snaps and out-targeted Pacheco 8-0. The rookie is still inching closer to RB2 range given the strength of Kansas City’s offense. Week 11 turns up a matchup with a Chargers D-line that’s been destroyed by injuries.

Chiefs RB Jerick McKinnon (shoulder, knee, hamstring) is active for today’s game vs. the Jaguars. The hamstring was added to the injury report on Friday, when McKinnon was limited in practice, so he carries elevated risk in Week 10 fantasy lineups.

Chiefs RB Jerick McKinnon (shoulder, knee, hamstring) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Jaguars. The hamstring was added to the injury report on Friday, when McKinnon was limited in practice. His absence on Sunday would be a particular boost to RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire’s target projection. We’ll get Kansas City’s inactives around 11:30 am ET on Sunday.

Chiefs rookie RB Isiah Pacheco led the team with 8 carries in Sunday's win over the 49ers, gaining 43 yards on his 8 rushes. He didn't get the call on any of K.C.'s 3 rushing scores for the game, however. Clyde Edwards-Helaire scored from 16 yards out. Mecole Hardman logged rushing scores from 25 and 3 yards away, plus an 8-yard score on a shovel pass. Pacheco played 2 more snaps than CEH for the game but 9 fewer than Jerick McKinnon. His 9-snap edge came entirely in receiving situations. McKinnon caught 2 of 3 targets for 36 yards and carried twice for 12 yards. Edwards-Helaire combined a 6-32-1 rushing line with 0 catches on 1 target. The Chiefs get a Week 8 bye and then home dates with the Titans and Jaguars.

The Chiefs gave 1st-team reps to RB Isiah Pacheco in practice this week and plan to start him over Clyde Edwards-Helaire against the 49ers, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. CEH "will still have a key role on offense," and we assume Jerick McKinnon will continue to be heavily involved. But this is the latest signal of dissatisfaction with Edwards-Helaire, who played fewer snaps than McKinnon in 3 of the past 4 games. Pick up Pacheco where available ahead of today's game.
