Chiefs WR Sammy Watkins (calf) remained limited in Thursday's practice. He's seemingly trending toward playing in the Super Bowl, but we'll get another update on his status on Friday afternoon.

Chiefs WR Sammy Watkins (calf) remained limited in Wednesday's practice. He was limited all week leading up to the AFC Championship before missing that game. Watkins has said he's "optimistic" about playing in the Super Bowl, but we'll see what he's able to do over the next couple of days.

The Chiefs will test WR Sammy Watkins (calf) before today's game against the Bills to determine whether he's ready to play. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, though, they "don't sound optimistic" that he'll be active. Watkins has been out since Week 16 but did return to limited workouts all this week. It seems like Watkins is a true game-time decision, which will make him risky even if he turns up active. Watkins' absence would boost the outlooks for both Mecole Hardman and Demarcus Robinson. They played 69% and 71% of the snaps in the win over the Browns, with Watkins out.

Chiefs WR Sammy Watkins (calf) is listed as questionable for Sunday's AFC Championship vs. the Bills. He was limited in practice all week. We'll look for an update on Watkins' status on Sunday morning. If he returns for this one, he'll be a risk/reward option for DFS tournaments only. It'd also put a dent in Mecole Hardman and Demarcus Robinson's projections.

Chiefs WR Sammy Watkins (calf) returned to a limited practice on Wednesday. He missed all 3 workouts last week before being inactive for the win over the Browns. Watkins seemingly has a shot to play vs. the Bills this weekend, but check back tomorrow for another update.

Chiefs WR Sammy Watkins (calf) has been ruled out for Sunday's game vs. the Browns. That leaves Demarcus Robinson and Mecole Hardman as Kansas City's #2 and #3 WRs. In the 5 games Watkins missed this season, Robinson ran a route on 83% of pass plays and totaled 23 targets to Hardman's 51% route rate and 17 targets.

Chiefs WR Sammy Watkins (calf) remained sidelined on Thursday and is now looking unlikely to play vs. the Browns on Sunday. His absence will leave Demarcus Robinson, Mecole Hardman and Byron Pringle as Kansas City's #2 through #4 WRs. We just updated our projections for the Chiefs passing game.

Chiefs WR Sammy Watkins (calf) did not practice on Wednesday. Not a good start for his chances of playing in Sunday's Divisional Round game vs. the Browns. Watkins' absence would leave Demarcus Robinson and Mecole Hardman as Kansas City's #2 and #3 WRs.

Chiefs WR Sammy Watkins suffered a calf injury in Sunday's win over the Falcons, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. The injury isn't believed to be serious, but Watkins is unlikely to play in this weekend's meaningless regular-season finale. He'll then get a bye week before the Divisional Round of the playoffs. Mecole Hardman, Demarcus Robinson and Byron Pringle will be Kansas City's top 3 WRs this weekend.

Chiefs WR Sammy Watkins (hamstring, calf) put in a full week of practice and isn't listed on the final injury report. He carries plenty of risk in his 1st action since Week 5 but averaged 6.8 targets, 4.8 catches and 49.5 yards across 4 games to open the season. He's an upside WR4 vs. the Bucs on Sunday.

Chiefs WR Sammy Watkins (hamstring, calf) put in a full practice on Wednesday. Barring a setback, he should return for this weekend's game against the Bucs. Watkins has been out since Week 5 but averaged 6.8 targets, 4.8 catches and 50 yards in 4 full games. He's in the WR4 mix for Week 12

Chiefs WR Mecole Hardman has been activated from the COVID list and will play against the Raiders on Sunday night. WR Sammy Watkins (hamstring, calf) has been ruled out for that one. Hardman and DeMarcus Robinson will continue to operate as the #2 and #3 WRs for Kansas City.

Chiefs WR Sammy Watkins (hamstring, calf) is listed as questionable for Sunday night’s game against the Raiders. He was a full-go on Wednesday coming off the hamstring injury — but then the calf was added to the injury report and he was limited on Thursday and Friday. Don’t count on Watkins in Week 11 fantasy lineups. His absence would make WR Mecole Hardman a safer play.

Chiefs WR Sammy Watkins (hamstring) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice. He's on track to return for Sunday night's game vs. the Raiders. Watkins was running as Kansas City's #2 WR before going down and figures to return to that role. It's a major buzzkill for WR Mecole Hardman.
