Chiefs WR Sammy Watkins reportedly re-injured his foot in Thursday's practice. The Kansas City Star's Sam Mellinger reports that Watkins is expected to miss another 4-6 weeks. That timeline would knock him out for the rest of the regular season and potentially cost him playoff games. Kansas City will move forward with WRs Chris Conley, Demarcus Robinson and newly signed Kelvin Benjamin behind Tyreek Hill. Conley is the only viable fantasy option and looks like a boom-or-bust WR3 the rest of the way.

Chiefs WR Sammy Watkins (foot) returned to a limited practice on Wednesday. It's progress after he was sidelined all last week, but Watkins' status for Sunday's game against the Ravens remains uncertain. Check back tomorrow for another update.

Chiefs WR Sammy Watkins (foot) is out for Sunday’s game against the Raiders. So Chris Conley will again be a full-time player as the #2 WR. He’s posted 2 duds and 1 big game in the 3 outings Watkins missed all or most of this season. Consider Conley a boom/bust WR4 for Week 13.

Chiefs WR Sammy Watkins (foot) missed practice again on Thursday. He's a long shot to play against the Raiders this weekend, leaving Chris Conley as Kansas City's #2 WR. In the 3 games Watkins has missed all or most of this year, Conley has posted lines of 4-13, 1-22 and 7-74-2. While he has the upside to have another big one this weekend, he's more likely to come away with something closer to those first 2 lines in what should be an easy win over Oakland.

Chiefs WR Sammy Watkins (foot) remained sidelined on Wednesday. HC Andy Reid said earlier this week that Watkins' foot is still "tender" coming off the bye week. We'll continue to monitor his status, but he shouldn't be in your Week 13 plans right now.

Chiefs WR Sammy Watkins (foot) was held out of Friday's practice after being limited on Thursday. It's unclear if this was a planned rest day or if Watkins suffered a setback. We'll have a better idea after we get Saturday's practice report. Check back then for an update.

Chiefs WR Sammy Watkins (foot) was limited on Thursday, the team's 1st official practice. He's expected back for Monday night's showdown with the Rams, but it'd be nice to see him get in at least 1 full workout. Check back tomorrow for another update on Watkins.

Monday night's Chiefs-Rams game has been moved to Los Angeles. The game was originally scheduled for Azteca Stadium in Mexico City, but there were concerns about the field conditions there. Consider the move back to U.S. soil good news for both offenses -- especially the Rams playing at home.

Chiefs HC Andy Reid said Monday that WR Sammy Watkins and LB Anthony Hitchens have "a pretty good chance" to return for Monday night's game against the Rams in Mexico City, according to BJ Kissel of the team website. Watkins was inactive for Sunday's win over the Cardinals with a foot injury. Hitchens was active but didn't play a snap as he deals with a rib injury. We'll keep an eye on both players throughout the week, but expect to have Watkins and Hitchens available for Week 11 fantasy usage.

Chiefs WR Sammy Watkins (foot) is inactive for today’s game against the Cardinals. He’s tentatively expected back for next Monday night’s showdown with the Rams. Chris Conley will step in as Kansas City’s #2 WR today and is an intriguing flier in DFS and deeper season-long leagues.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Chiefs WR Sammy Watkins (foot) is "unlikely" to play against the Cardinals today. He adds that "it's mostly a precaution, and Watkins should be fine next week." The Chiefs visit the Rams in Week 11 before a Week 12 bye.

Chiefs WR Sammy Watkins (foot) is questionable for this weekend’s game against the Cardinals after returning to a limited practice on Friday. It’d make a ton of sense for Kansas City to hold him out of this easily winnable game, but we’ll get his official status around noon ET on Sunday. If active, Watkins will be a risk/reward fantasy play. If not, Chris Conley will step in as the Chiefs’ #2 WR and be a viable flier.

Chiefs WR Sammy Watkins (foot) missed practice again on Thursday. He's looking unlikely to play against the Cardinals this weekend. We just removed Watkins from the Week 10 Rankings and bumped up WR Chris Conley.

Chiefs WR Sammy Watkins injured his foot in Sunday's win over the Browns, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. "While it’s not a serious injury, it may impact his status for Sunday as KC plans for the long run," Rapoport adds. We'll look for more details on Watkins' injury and monitor his practice participation this week. If he can't play against the Cardinals on Sunday, Chris Conley would step in as Kansas City's #2 WR.

Chiefs WR Sammy Watkins (hamstring) is active for today’s game against the Jaguars. Between that matchup and the hamstring issue, Watkins isn’t a recommended Week 5 fantasy play.

The forecast for today's Jaguars-Chiefs game calls for periods of heavy rain. The good news is that winds are expected to be only 6-7 mph. They aren't ideal conditions, but it's not enough for us to adjust our projections for these passing games. You might use the weather as a tiebreaker if deciding between 2 similarly ranked players, though.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport hears that there's "optimism" that Chiefs WR Sammy Watkins (hamstring) will play against the Jaguars today. He didn't return to last Monday night's game, but the hamstring injury is "minor," according to Rapoport. There's still some risk of an aggravation, though. And a brutal matchup against the Jaguars has Watkins looking like just a WR4 for Week 5.

Chiefs WR Sammy Watkins (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Jaguars after a limited week of practice. We’re expecting him to play, but Watkins’ isn’t a recommended fantasy starter at less than 100% in a brutal matchup.

Chiefs WR Sammy Watkins (hamstring) will practice on Wednesday, according to ESPN's Adam Teicher. We'll see whether he's listed as "limited" or "full," but the fact that he's out there at all just 2 days after leaving Monday night's game in Denver is excellent news. We'll continue to monitor Watkins' status -- although he's not a recommended Week 5 fantasy play vs. the Jaguars.
