Washington WR Terry McLaurin (ankle) is inactive for today’s game against the Panthers. TE Logan Thomas and RBs Antonio Gibson and J.D. McKissic might be the team’s best target bets in this one.

Washington WR Terry McLaurin (ankle) is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game vs. the Panthers. He should obviously be on fantasy benches. We'd avoid the rest of Washington's WRs, even with McLaurin out. His absence opens up more targets for TE Logan Thomas and RB J.D. McKissic (and potentially RB Antonio Gibson).

Washington QB Alex Smith (calf) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Seahawks. So it'll be Dwayne Haskins back under center. Haskins has been more aggressive than Smith this season (6.6-yard vs. 5.7-yard average depth of throw) but less accurate (60.8% completion rate vs. 66.4%). We'd consider the move from Smith to Haskins a wash for WR Terry McLaurin and TE Logan Thomas but a downgrade for RB J.D. McKissic.

Washington feels "pretty good" about QB Alex Smith's chances of playing against the Seahawks on Sunday, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. Smith isn't expected to practice much this week to get that injured calf a chance to heal. He's not much of a fantasy option, but Smith's availability would be good news for WR Terry McLaurin and the rest of Washington's offense.

Washington WR Terry McLaurin (ankle) is active for today's game against the Steelers. He put in a full practice on Saturday and should be ready for his usual role today.

Washington WR Terry McLaurin (ankle) is listed as questionable for Monday night's game vs. the Steelers. He played through a questionable tag on Thanksgiving, posting a 7-92 line. McLaurin was limited in Friday's practice but a full-go on Saturday. He should be fine to face Pittsburgh.

Washington WR Terry McLaurin (ankle) is active for today's game against the Cowboys. The injury adds a bit of risk, but McLaurin put in a full Wednesday practice and belongs in fantasy lineups.

Washington WR Terry McLaurin (ankle) is listed as questionable for Thursday's game against the Cowboys. He put in a full practice on Wednesday, though, and we've heard no concern about his status. Keep McLaurin penciled into fantasy lineups for now. Just check back Thursday afternoon to make sure he's active.

Washington WR Terry McLaurin (thigh) is active for today’s game against the Ravens. He was added to the injury report on Thursday and then didn’t practice on Friday — so McLaurin figures to be operating at less than 100% today. Consider him a WR3 for Week 4.

Washington WR Terry McLaurin (thigh) is expected to play against the Ravens today, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. McLaurin was added to Thursday's injury report and then didn't practice on Friday, so expect him to be operating at less than 100% today. That, plus the matchup, makes him a WR3 for Week 4.

Washington WR Terry McLaurin (thigh) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game against the Ravens. He was added to the injury report on Thursday and then didn’t practice on Friday, so he appears to be in real danger of missing this one. We’ll get McLaurin’s official game status by noon ET on Sunday. WR Steven Sims (toe) is out for Washington.

Washington WR Terry McLaurin was added to Thursday's injury report with a thigh. He was limited in practice. Check back tomorrow for another update on his status.

Browns LB Mack Wilson is questionable for Sunday's game against Washington. If he plays, it would be his season debut after missing the 1st 2 weeks with the hyperextended knee he suffered early in training camp. Even if Wilson is active, he'd make for a shaky IDP option. Wilson fill-in Jacob Phillips (knee) is out for the 2nd straight game. CB Greedy Williams (shoulder) has also been ruled out for the 3rd straight game. Fellow starting CB Denzel Ward (groin) is questionable. Ward came down with the injury in Thursday's practice and then sat out Friday, so he looks like a big question mark for the game. His absence would enhance the matchup for Washington lead WR Terry McLaurin. Cleveland has also ruled out DE Olivier Vernon (abdomen), and replacement Adrian Clayborn (hip) is questionable. Clayborn put in just a limited workout Friday after missing the previous 2 days.

Washington WR Kelvin Harmon tore an ACL getting ready for training camp, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Harmon himself tweeted that he underwent surgery last week. The injury will cost him the entire 2020 campaign. Harmon was the early favorite for Washington's #2 outside WR job opposite Terry McLaurin. Now rookie Antonio Gandy-Golden, Cody Latimer and Cam Sims will duke it out for that spot. We'll monitor that battle but won't be spending draft picks on any of those guys for now. The fantasy winner here is WR Terry McLaurin and, to a lesser extent, slot WR Steven Sims.

The Redskins hired Scott Turner as OC. He's re-uniting with Ron Rivera after working with him in Carolina the past 2 years. Turner replaced his father, Norv, as Panthers OC for the final 4 games of last season. That's his only experience calling plays at the NFL level.

The Redskins have hired Ron Rivera as their new HC. Rivera compiled a 76-63-1 record in Carolina before being fired earlier this year. He took the Panthers to the playoffs in 4 of his 9 seasons. We'll see if Rivera retains OC Kevin O'Connell or brings in fresh blood.

Redskins WR Terry McLaurin (concussion) is out for Sunday's finale against the Cowboys. He leaves behind 6.6 targets per game. McLaurin's absence is a boost for WR Steven Sims, who's already racked up 28 targets over the last 3 weeks.

Redskins WR Terry McLaurin (concussion) remained sidelined for Thursday's practice. Consider the rookie a long shot to get cleared in time for Sunday's finale against the Cowboys. We'll get another update on his status tomorrow.

Redskins WR Terry McLaurin is in the concussion protocol, the team announced on Tuesday. That makes the rookie iffy for this weekend's finale against the Cowboys. We'll keep an eye on his status over the next few days.

The forecast for today's Redskins-Bills game calls for winds between 15 and 20 mph with gusts around 30 mph. It won't be as windy as it was last week, but this is still enough to give slight bumps down to the passing and kicking games. Hopefully you were already avoiding Washington's passing game (including Terry McLaurin) in rookie QB Dwayne Haskins' 1st start. QB Josh Allen and WR John Brown remain fine plays on the Buffalo side. We'd try not to use either K in this game.
