Tetairoa McMillan Dealing With Foot Issue

Panthers WR Tetairoa McMillan has been sidelined this spring with a foot issue. The team expects McMillan to be ready for the start of training camp, though, according to The Charlotte Observer's Mike Kaye. And McMillan didn't sound worried when speaking to the media on Wednesday. "It's just a little sore, that's all it is," McMillan said of the foot. "But I feel good right now. ... No concern."

Jalen Coker Locked in as the No. 2 WR?

Panthers WR Jalen Coker has “more or less solidified himself as the team’s No. 2 WR,” per reporter Alex Zietlow of The Charlotte Observer. You probably remember Coker’s huge playoff game against the Rams: 9 catches, 134 yards, and 1 score on a 23% target share. Going back to Week 10, he ran a clear second among Carolina WRs in route rate, registering an 84% mark. The 24-year-old is now an exclusive rights free agent, but there’s no chance of him getting out of Carolina.

Tetairoa McMillan Now Questionable For Week 17

Panthers WR Tetairoa McMillan has been added to the injury report and listed as questionable for today's game vs. the Seahawks with an illness. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport says it's "mostly precautionary" and that "T-Mac should be good to go." We'll get Carolina's inactives around 11:30 am ET and look for any reports on McMillan's snaps being limited due to the illness.

Tetairoa McMillan Proves He Is Elite Against Buccaneers

WR Tetairoa McMillan went 6-73-1 on 10 targets against the Buccaneers. Jalen Coker was the next highest WR with 5 targets. McMillan matched up against CB Jamel Dean often who had been stout against outside WRs, but McMillan was able to win multiple times one-on-one. As the Panthers march toward the NFC South crown, McMillan has proved himself to be an elite option who can be relied upon for the fantasy championship (and next season).

Tetairoa McMillan Ready For Week 16

Panthers WR Tetairoa McMillan (foot, ankle) is not listed on the final Week 16 injury report. He sat out Wednesday’s practice but was a full-go on Thursday and Friday. The rookie should be ready for his usual role in Sunday’s showdown against the Buccaneers.

Tetairoa McMillan Out Wednesday With Calf

Panthers WR Tetairoa McMillan (foot, ankle) did not practice on Wednesday. He seemed to make it out of last week's loss to the Saints fine, so we're still expecting him to play against the Buccaneers on Sunday. But we'll keep you updated on McMillan's status over the next few days.

Bryce Young Sets Carolina Franchise Passing Record In OT Win

The Atlanta Falcons entered Week 11 allowing the fewest passing yards in the league, but Carolina QB Bryce Young set a franchise record with 448 passing yards and threw 3 TDs to lead the Panthers to a 30-27 overtime win. Young overcame an early ankle injury to lead his team back from a 21-10 deficit to sweep the Falcons and hand Atlanta their fifth consecutive loss.

        Tetairoa McMillan Active

Panthers WR Tetairoa McMillan (hamstring) is active for today’s game vs. the Saints. He was added to the injury report after tweaking his hamstring on Friday and listed as questionable. McMillan must have looked and felt okay on Saturday, though, because ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported last night that McMillan was expected to play. We haven’t heard anything about him being on a snap count today, but we have to believe there’s risk of him aggravating the hamstring issue. Check your Team Dashboard to see if McMillan belongs in your starting lineup.

Tetairoa McMillan Expected To Play Week 10

Panthers WR Tetairoa McMillan (hamstring) is expected to play in Sunday's game vs. the Saints, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. It's a mild surprise after McMillan injured his hamstring in Friday's practice. HC Dave Canales said at that point that he was "concerned" and that McMillan would be re-evaluated on Saturday. That checkup must have gone well enough. We have to believe there's elevated risk here, especially in a game that the Saints could control on the ground. We've bumped McMillan down a handful of spots in the Week 10 WR rankings.

Tetairoa McMillan Questionable For Week 10

Panthers WR Tetairoa McMillan (hamstring) is questionable for this weekend's game vs. the Saints after being added to the injury report and limited in practice on Friday. HC Dave Canales said afterward that "something popped up in practice, so we shut him down." He admitted that he's "concerned" and that McMillan will be re-evaluated tomorrow. We'll look for further updates, but the rookie is seemingly in legitimate danger of missing Sunday's game vs. the Saints.
