The Patriots list LB Ja'Whaun Bentley (shoulder), S Kyle Dugger (hamstring), LB Kyle Van Noy (groin) and CB Jalen Mills (hamstring) as questionable for Sunday's game against the Texans. Bentley put in limited practices all week but also did so in Week 4 before missing the Sunday night game against Tampa Bay. Van Noy opened the week with no Wednesday practice before 2 limited workouts. Dugger and Mills were limited all week. We'll update the statuses on all 4 Sunday morning.

Washington RB Antonio Gibson (shin) is listed as questionable for this weekend's game vs. the Saints after getting in limited practices on Thursday and Friday. Gibson revealed Friday that he's playing through a stress fracture in that shin. The injury plus tough matchup make him a risk/reward RB2 in Week 5 fantasy lineups.

The Giants have ruled S Jabrill Peppers out for Sunday's game against the Cowboys. He suffered a hamstring injury in the Week 4 win over the Saints that kept him from practicing this week. His absence can only help the tackle upside for fellow Giants DBs Logan Ryan and Xavier McKinney.

Washington RB Antonio Gibson revealed Friday that he has a stress fracture in his shin. Gibson played through the issue last week and said it "doesn't hurt badly." It's obviously a concern, though, especially after Gibson played a season-low 55% of offensive snaps last week. He's a risk/reward RB2 in Week 5 fantasy lineups.

Washington RB Antonio Gibson (shin) returned to a limited practice on Thursday. He played through this issue last week and should be fine for Sunday's game vs. the Saints.

Washington RB Antonio Gibson (shin) didn't practice on Wednesday. He played through this issue last week and should be fine for Sunday's game vs. the Saints. But Gibson's status is worth tracking over the next few days.

The Patriots on Wednesday reached a deal with free-agent LB Jamie Collins. That report came immediately after news of New England trading CB Stephon Gilmore to the Panthers, so the 2 sides clearly had already worked out the veteran's return. We'll see just how much playing time awaits Collins in a crowded LB corps. And we'll wait to see that before sticking him into IDP lineups. The secondary, meanwhile, can continue with players in their existing roles now that no Gilmore return from the PUP looms.

Giants S Jabrill Peppers left Sunday's game against the Saints with a hamstring injury. Despite having already been ruled out for the game, Peppers went out for the coin toss to begin overtime. We'll see about his outlook for Week 5 and beyond, but Peppers had already seen his playing time dip to a level that made him tough to play in IDP lineups.

Patriots RB Rhamondre Stevenson is a healthy scratch for tonight's game against the Bucs -- despite RB James White's absence. That leaves just Damien Harris, Brandon Bolden and J.J. Taylor in New England's backfield.

Patriots LB Ja'Whaun Bentley (shoulder) is inactive for Sunday night's game against the Buccaneers. S Kyle Dugger (hamstring) and LB Kyle Van Noy (groin) are active, despite entering the day questionable.

11:33am EDT 10/3/21

Washington RB Antonio Gibson (shin) is active for today’s game vs. the Falcons. Gibson was added to the injury report and sidelined on Thursday but returned to a limited workout on Friday. We haven’t heard anything about his role being scaled back today, but he does come with at least a little more risk than usual.

ESPN's Adam Schefter hears that Washington RB Antonio Gibson (shin) is expected to play vs. the Falcons today, "barring any pregame setback." Gibson was added to the injury report on Thursday and then limited in Friday's practice. There's some elevated risk here, but Gibson still sits inside RB1 territory in the Week 4 Rankings.

Patriots LB Ja'Whaun Bentley (shoulder), LB Kyle Van Noy (groin) and S Kyle Dugger (hamstring) are questionable for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers. All 3 put in limited practices each day this week. Dugger looks most iffy after his injury arose Thursday. The Sunday night kickoff means you probably shouldn't wait for any of them in your IDP lineup.

Titans TE Anthony Firkser (knee) put in a full week of practice and isn’t listed on the final injury report. He’ll play vs. the Jets after missing the past 2 games. Firkser could be in for an expanded role in the passing game with WRs A.J. Brown and Julio Jones out, making him an intriguing DFS flier.

Steelers WR JuJu Smith-Schuster (ribs) isn’t listed on the final injury report and will play vs. the Packers on Sunday. His target projection gets a boost if WR Chase Claypool sits with his hamstring injury.

Washington RB Antonio Gibson (shin) is questionable for Sunday's game vs. the Falcons. Gibson was added to the injury report and sidelined on Thursday but returned to a limited workout on Friday. HC Ron Rivera said he's "pretty confident" that Gibson will be able to play this weekend but wants to see how he feels on Saturday. We'll get Gibson's game status by noon ET on Sunday.

NBC Washington's JP Finlay hears that there's "little concern" about RB Antonio Gibson's status for this weekend's game vs. the Falcons. Gibson sat out Thursday's practice with a shin issue but is expected back on Friday, per Finlay. We'll get another update on Gibson this afternoon, but he can stay penciled into Week 4 fantasy lineups for now.

Steelers WR JuJu Smith-Schuster (ribs) returned to a limited practice on Thursday. Dealing with bruised ribs, JuJu figures to play vs. the Packers this weekend. But check back tomorrow for another update.

Washington RB Antonio Gibson was held out of Thursday's practice with a shin injury. "Initial sense is Gibson sat today for precautionary reasons," The Athletic's Ben Standig tweeted. Check back tomorrow for another update on Gibson's status.

Titans TE Anthony Firkser (knee) got in a full practice on Wednesday. So he should be back for this weekend's game vs. the Jets -- good news for a Titans offense that might be without both A.J. Brown and Julio Jones. We still wouldn't trust Firkser in season-long lineups, but he could be a sneaky DFS play.
