Jordan Love Won't Play Week 17, Malik Willis Expected To Start

Packers QB Jordan Love (concussion) won't play vs. the Ravens on Saturday night, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. Love was limited in practice all week and should be cleared in time for Week 18. QB Malik Willis, who's also listed as questionable with a right shoulder injury, is expected to start against Baltimore, per Schefter. We've had it projected that way all week, so there are no changes to the Week 17 rankings. Expect an extremely run-heavy game from Green Bay.

Jayden Reed Leads Packers WRs In Snaps

The Green Bay Packers had 7 WRs active for Week 16. All 7 played, but Jayden Reed led the way in snaps. However, QB Jordan Love exited the game early due to a concussion, which led to a change in Green Bay's offensive approach. Additionally, RB Josh Jacobs aggravated a knee injury, which further complicates the Packers' WR offenseive approach heading into what is now a must-win Week 17

Christian Watson Expects To Play Week 16

Packers WR Christian Watson (chest, shoulder) got in a limited practice on Wednesday and suggested afterward that he expects to play vs. the Bears on Saturday night. “It’s feeling pretty good for everything considered, so I think it’ll be alright for the game," Watson said. "We’re at the point in the season where you gotta fight through some stuff, so should be good.” We'll see how Watson is listed on Thursday's final injury report. He'll carry elevated risk if he does suit up but will still belong in plenty of Week 16 fantasy lineups.

Christian Watson & Dontayvion Wicks Out Tuesday

Packers WR Christian Watson (chest, shoulder) did not practice on Tuesday. Watson reportedly dodged a serious injury but remains iffy for Saturday's game vs. the Bears. "We’ll give him up to game time to see if he can go," HC Matt LaFleur said today. WR Dontayvion Wicks (ankle) was also sidelined on Tuesday.

Christian Watson's Injury Not Long Term

Packers WR Christian Watson did not suffer a "long-term injury" in Sunday's loss to the Broncos, ESPN's Rob Demovsky reports. Watson was taken to a local hospital for scans on his lungs, per Demovsky, but was able to fly home with the team. "His status for Saturday’s game against the Bears will be determined later in the week," Demovsky adds. It's all good news, but fantasy owners should at least be lining up an alternative plan for Week 16 fantasy lineups. We'll keep you updated on Watson's status throughout the week.

        Christian Watson Hurts Left Shoulder

Packers WR Christian Watson suffered an apparent left shoulder injury on a diving attempt for a deep ball in the third quarter of Sunday's game vs. the Broncos. Watson was in obvious pain and took a few minutes to get off the field. We'll keep you updated on Watson's status.

Update: Watson has been ruled out with a chest injury.

Matthew Golden Questionable For Week 11, Romeo Doubs & Christian Watson Will Play

Packers WR Matthew Golden (shoulder) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Giants. We’ll see if the rookie can make it back for this one, but he shouldn’t be in your Week 11 fantasy plans. WRs Romeo Doubs (chest) and Christian Watson (knee, hamstring) are both off the injury report and should be ready for their usual roles this weekend.

Christian Watson Added To Thursday's Injury Report

Packers WR Christian Watson was added to the injury report and limited in Thursday's practice with knee and hamstring issues. That's more worrisome than usual considering his history of hamstring trouble, and the torn ACL that ended his 2024 season. We'll look for more updates on Watson's status and see if he practices tomorrow, ahead of Sunday's game vs. the Giants.

Is Dontayvion Wicks About to Be a Thing?

Monday night's loss to the Eagles marked Green Bay's first game since losing TE Tucker Kraft to an ACL tear. The team also missed WR Matthew Golden (shoulder) for the game, and even watched WR Romeo Doubs leave early in the fourth quarter with a chest injury. WR Dontayvion Wicks, meanwhile, drew a team-high eight targets. He managed just 4 receptions for 38 yards on a night that found Green Bay throwing for just 176 yards in all. RB Josh Jacobs led the team in receptions (5) and ranked second in targets (six). WR Bo Melton was the only other Packer to exceed four targets, catching two of five looks for 28 yards. WR Christian Watson led the team with 45 receiving yards on 2 receptions among four targets.

Romeo Doubs Leaves With Chest Injury

Packers WR Romeo Doubs was knocked out of Monday night's game vs. the Eagles with a chest injury. He caught just one of four targets for five yards before exiting in the second half. We'll look for updates on his injury. The Packers, of course, were already without WRs Matthew Golden (shoulder) and Jayden Reed (collarbone, foot) for this one. That left Christian Watson and Dontayvion Wicks as the top two WRs after Doubs exited. Golden should have a chance to make it back for Week 11, while Reed is reportedly targeting a Week 13 or 14 return.

Matthew Golden & Christian Watson Active

Packers WR Matthew Golden (hip) is active for tonight’s game vs. the Steelers. He was added to the injury report on Friday, limited in practice, and then listed as questionable. So the rookie likely isn’t at 100% for this one – and will be contending with the return of WR Christian Watson (knee), who is also active. We’re expecting Watson to be on some type of snap count in his first action since tearing his ACL in January.

Matthew Golden & Christian Watson Questionable For Week 8, Dontayvion Wicks Out

Packers WR Matthew Golden (hip) was added to the injury report on Friday, limited in practice, and listed as questionable for Sunday night’s game vs. the Steelers. We’ll look for more info on his status, but the late kickoff could leave fantasy owners in a tough spot. WR Christian Watson (knee) is also listed as questionable. He has a chance to make his 2025 debut in this one but shouldn’t be in Week 8 fantasy lineups. WR Dontayvion Wicks (calf) has been ruled out.

Christian Watson Leaves With Knee Injury

Packers WR Christian Watson is questionable to return to Sunday's game vs. the Bears with a knee injury. It's likely an aggravation of the injury he suffered in Week 16 that cost him Week 17. It puts Watson's availability for next week's playoff opener in question.

Christian Watson's Knee Injury Not Serious

Packers HC Matt LaFleur said Tuesday morning that the team got "good news" on WR Christian Watson's knee injury. “It’s more just a bruise," LaFleur said, adding that Watson has a chance to play in this weekend's showdown vs. the Vikings. We'll keep you posted on Watson's status throughout the week.

Christian Watson Questionable with Knee Injury

Packers WR Christian Watson injured his right knee in Monday night's game against the Saints and is questionable to return. He sustained the injury on a second-quarter run, seemingly taking a shot to it by a stumbling defender after going down out of bounds. Watson initially returned to the game but then left again. We'll watch for more on his status, but Watson hasn't delivered much fantasy relevance. His absence would help Dontayvion Wicks' playing time.

        Dontayvion Wicks Active

Packers WR Dontayvion Wicks (shoulder) is active for today’s game vs. the Texans. We wouldn’t use him in fantasy lineups coming off the shoulder injury, but Wicks’ presence makes WR Christian Watson a riskier start. Wicks was playing ahead of Watson early in last week’s game, before hurting his shoulder.

Dontayvion Wicks Questionable For Week 7

Packers WR Dontayvion Wicks (shoulder) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Texans. Insider Jordan Schultz reported on Monday that Wicks was considered “week to week” with this shoulder injury, but he seemingly has a real chance to play on Sunday. Wicks shouldn’t be in Week 7 fantasy lineups, but his presence would add downside to WR Christian Watson’s profile. We’ll get Green Bay’s inactives around 11:30 am ET on Sunday.

        Dontayvion Wicks Limited Wednesday

Packers WR Dontayvion Wicks (shoulder) put in a limited practice on Wednesday. Insider Jordan Schultz reported earlier this week that Wicks was considered "week to week" with his shoulder injury, but it looks like he at least has a chance to suit up vs. the Texans this weekend. We'll track his progress over the next few days. Wicks shouldn't be part of your Week 7 fantasy plans, but his presence would make WR Christian Watson a shakier play.

Dontayvion Wicks "Week To Week" With Shoulder Injury

Packers WR Dontayvion Wicks is considered “week to week” with the shoulder injury that knocked him out of the Week 6 win over the Cardinals, according to insider Jordan Schultz. "After initial concern inside the Packers’ building of a more substantial injury, there is relief that Wicks avoided anything more serious," Schultz adds.
