Jalen Hurts Doesn't Miss A.J. Brown

Eagles QB Jalen Hurts threw for 179 yards and 4 TDs in Sunday's win over the Giants. He added 22 yards on four rushes. The yardage marked a dip vs. Hurts' previous three games, but it came on a season-low 20 pass attempts. His 8.95 yards per pass attempt was his second-best rate of the year. Hurts' 75% completion rate was his third-best of the season. And it all came, of course, without WR A.J. Brown, who was inactive with a hamstring injury. Hurts did get fortunate to not officially lose a fumble when officials ruled him down on a "Tush Push" conversion early in the second quarter. (It should have been a fumble.)

Jalen Hurts Will Play In NFC Championship

Eagles QB Jalen Hurts (knee) is not listed on the final injury report for Sunday's NFC Championship vs. the Commanders. He was a full participant in practice on Thursday and Friday. Hurts said Friday that the injured knee is "progressing" but that he expects to wear a brace on Sunday. We're not projecting him for his usual volume or efficiency on the ground. That figures to mean even more work for RB Saquon Barkley.

Jalen Hurts Expects To Play In NFC Championship

Eagles QB Jalen Hurts said after Sunday's win over the Rams that he's "confident" he'll be ready for the NFC Championship against the Commanders. Hurts injured his left knee in the third quarter of the Rams game. He didn't miss any snaps but clearly wasn't at 100% the rest of the way. Hurts took a safety on the possession after the injury and didn't have a carry the rest of the game. So, while he'll likely be out there this weekend, it remains to be seen how effective he'll be with his legs. Hurts totaled 80 rushing yards and one TD in two games against Washington this season.

        Jalen Hurts A Full-Go Thursday

Eagles QB Jalen Hurts (concussion, finger) was a full participant in Thursday's practice. He's on track to be cleared for this weekend's Wild Card game vs. the Packers. We'll see how Hurts is listed on the final injury report tomorrow.

Key Eagles Won't Play Week 18

Eagles QB Jalen Hurts (concussion) is out for Sunday's game vs. the Giants. He should be cleared in time to play in next week's Wild Card game. RB Saquon Barkley and WRs A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith are listed as doubtful. They won't play in this meaningless game. TE Dallas Goedert (knee) is not listed on the final injury report and could get a few snaps in this one to knock off some rust. We'd still avoid him in Week 18 fantasy lineups. QB Kenny Pickett (ribs) is listed as questionable but didn't practice all week. We're expecting QB Tanner McKee to get the start. RB Will Shipley (concussion) is listed as questionable but was a full-go in the final two practices of the week. He should be cleared for this one and figures to operate as Philadelphia's lead back.

Kenny Pickett Played Through Broken Ribs

Eagles QB Kenny Pickett was knocked out of Sunday's game vs. the Cowboys with a rib injury. Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio reports that Pickett was playing through broken ribs that he suffered in Week 16. He took painkilling shots both before the start of the game and at halftime. The Eagles are now locked into the NFC’s No. 2 seed, so there’s a good chance that it’s QB Tanner McKee under center in next weekend’s regular-season finale vs. the Giants.

Jalen Hurts Out For Week 17

Eagles QB Jalen Hurts (concussion, finger) has been ruled out for Sunday’s game vs. the Cowboys. QB Kenny Pickett (ribs) was limited in practice throughout the week but is off the final injury report and will get the start. That should mean a bit more passing volume for the Eagles, but a dip in efficiency. It projects as about a wash for WRs A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith.

        Jalen Hurts Still Out Thursday

Eagles QB Jalen Hurts (concussion) remained sidelined for Thursday's practice. He's now a major longshot to be cleared in time for Sunday's game vs. the Cowboys. QB Kenny Pickett is on the injury report with a rib issue but got in a limited practice on Thursday. He's in line to start against Dallas.

A.J. Brown & DeVonta Smith Will Play Week 6

Eagles WRs A.J. Brown (hamstring) and DeVonta Smith (hamstring) were both full participants in practice all week and are not listed on the final injury report. They'll be back in their usual roles vs. the Browns on Sunday and should be back in fantasy lineups. The Eagles are also getting RT Lane Johnson back this week. It's all good news for QB Jalen Hurts.

A.J. Brown & DeVonta Smith Expected Back For Week 6

The Eagles are expecting WRs A.J. Brown (hamstring) and DeVonta Smith (concussion) to play vs. the Browns this weekend, according to Underdog's James Palmer. Brown missed the last three games with his hamstring injury, while Smith missed Week 4 with his concussion. QB Jalen Hurts mustered just 158 passing yards on 5.3 yards per attempt with his top two WRs missing in that loss to the Bucs. With this offense now back to full strength, expect a big bounce-back from Hurts this weekend.
