The Panthers on Wednesday released WR David Moore. The veteran became basically irrelevant for fantasy purposes once the team drafted Terrace Marshall. Beyond the top 3 at wideout, Carolina also still has Brandon Zylstra and Shi Smith on the roster at the position.
Bears WR David Moore was arrested on July 4 in Texas on drug and weapons charges. We'll see where this goes and whether Moore draws a suspension from the league, but this obviously won't help his chances of making Chicago's roster.
The Panthers signed WR David Moore to a 2-year, $4.75 million deal with $1.25 million guaranteed, NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports. Although he never earned a consistently prominent role in Seattle, Moore averaged a strong 14.9 yards per catch over the past 3 seasons. Playing with QB Russell Wilson helped, but there's some ability here. And he'd be the favorite for #3 WR duties in Carolina as the depth chart stands now. We'll see if the Panthers make any more moves.
Seahawks WR David Moore (shoulder) is set to make his 2019 debut on Sunday against the Saints. He figures to slide in as Seattle’s #3 WR and isn’t a fantasy option. We don’t expect Moore to cut into WR D.K. Metcalf’s snaps.
Seahawks HC Pete Carroll said WR David Moore will be out "a while" with a shoulder injury suffered in Thursday's practice. Carroll added that Moore won't be ready for Week 1 but gave no timetable beyond that. With WR D.K. Metcalf recovering from knee surgery, Jaron Brown is in line to open the season as Seattle's #2 WR. WR Tyler Lockett figures to dominate targets early on.
