Ravens RB Ty'Son Williams is a healthy scratch for today's game vs. the Broncos. Baltimore is going with RBs Latavius Murray, Le'Veon Bell and Devonta Freeman. Murray is expected to lead the way and is a RB3 or flex option.
The Ravens are planning to use RBs Ty'Son Williams, Latavius Murray and Devonta Freeman against the Chiefs tonight, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. "Do not be surprised if the Ravens roll with the hot hand," Rapoport adds. Williams is most likely to get that "hot hand" and remains the best fantasy bet here. But consider him a risk/reward RB3 or flex. Murray is next in our Week 2 Rankings but sits outside RB3 territory across formats.
ESPN's Jamison Hensley confirms that Ty'Son Williams is now the Ravens' #2 RB. The former undrafted free agent has passed RB Justice Hill on the depth chart. While Hill has missed parts of August with an ankle injury, Williams has impressed on the practice field and with a 5.4 yards-per-carry average in preseason action. We'll see if Baltimore makes an addition to the backfield over the next couple of weeks, but Williams is worth considering as a late-round flier in fantasy drafts.
