Peterson promoted to active roster

Titans RB Adrian Peterson has been promoted from the practice squad to the active roster. That presumably means he'll play vs. the Rams on Sunday night, just 6 days after joining Tennessee. "This is a permanent move to the active roster," NFL Network's Mike Garafolo tweeted. "He’s impressed them that quickly that it’s go time already." Peterson won't come close to matching RB Derrick Henry in volume or production, but he figures to emerge as the Titans' lead ball-carrier until Henry returns. Still, consider Peterson a risky RB3 in his 1st action of the year.
