Texans dump Lindsay

The Texans released RB Phillip Lindsay. He finishes his 10-game Houston tenure with 50 carries for 130 yards -- 2.6 yards per carry. We'll see where Lindsay lands, but he's a long shot to be a fantasy factor the rest of this season. The Texans seem content to split backfield duties between David Johnson and Rex Burkhead the rest of the way. Even in a plus Week 12 matchup vs. the Jets, the situation should be avoided in fantasy lineups.

The Colts released RB Phillip Lindsay. Even with RB Jonathan Taylor out last week, Lindsay was just 3rd in the backfield behind Deon Jackson and Jordan Wilkins. The move looks like another sign that Taylor is on track to return for Sunday's game vs. the Raiders.

Lindsay has spent the first 4 weeks of the season on the practice squad but is Indy's most experienced ball-carrier behind Taylor. RB Nyheim Hines would still be the top Week 5 fantasy option if Taylor can't go, but don't expect Hines to get a huge workload.
