Bengals TE C.J. Uzomah (knee) was officially listed as a non-participant in Wednesday's practice. But he worked off to the side with a trainer, and HC Zac Taylor said afterward that Uzomah looks "positive" for Sunday's Super Bowl. "Considering where he was when he fell on the turf last Sunday to where he is now, I'm really optimistic about how it's going," Taylor added. "We'll continue to see him in action these next 2 days, but optimistic." We'll see what Uzomah is able to do on Thursday.
Jets TE C.J. Uzomah (ankle) is inactive for today's game vs. the Dolphins. His absence is a boost to TE Tyler Conklin's Week 18 fantasy value.
Jets TE C.J. Uzomah (hamstring) is inactive for today’s game vs. the Browns. He played just 23 snaps and ran 11 pass routes in the opener, so there’s minimal fantasy impact here.
Jets TE C.J. Uzomah (hamstring) is doubtful for Sunday's game vs. the Browns. He played well behind TE Tyler Conklin in the opener and is off the fantasy radar. But Uzomah's absence can't hurt Conklin's Week 2 projection.
The Jets have agreed to a 3-year, $24 million deal with the Jets, according to multiple reports. That'll obviously make him the Jets' lead TE. Uzomah has yet to reach 50 receptions in a season, though. And he'll join a Jets offense that returns WR Corey Davis and WR Elijah Moore. And the Jets re-signed Braxton Berrios this week. Expect Uzomah to continue toiling in low-TE2 range of the fantasy football rankings.
Bengals TE C.J. Uzomah (knee) is active for the Super Bowl. He sprained his MCL in the AFC Championship but put in a limited practice on Thursday and a full practice on Friday. Still, don't expect him to be at 100% vs. the Rams.
