The Ravens selected Boston College WR Zay Flowers with the 21st pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. Flowers dealt with some bad QB play in college. His raw numbers were solid: 2,715 yards and 26 TDs over the past three seasons. But Flowers looks much more impressive from a market-share perspective. He accounted for 32.7% of his team’s receiving yards over the last three years and a whopping 45.6% of the receiving scores. He’s a fun watch on tape: an explosive route runner and dynamic after the catch. The knocks against Flowers? He’s undersized at 5’9, 182 pounds with second percentile arm length. And he’s a four-year college player who will turn 23 in September. The ceiling feels a bit capped here – at least for 2023. Baltimore’s no longer hurting for pass catchers with Mark Andrews, Rashod Bateman, and Odell Beckham. Flowers projects outside the top-50 in year one.
Ravens WR Zay Flowers (calf) is inactive for today’s game vs. the Steelers. He joins QB Lamar Jackson and WR Odell Beckham on the sidelines for this one. QB Tyler Huntley starts with WRs Rashod Bateman, Nelson Agholor, Laquon Treadwell, and Tylan Wallace.
Ravens WR Zay Flowers (calf) is listed as doubtful for Saturday's game vs. the Steelers. He played through this injury last week, so this is very likely a case of Flowers getting some rest in a meaningless finale. He should be ready for Baltimore's playoff opener in a couple of weeks. WR Odell Beckham (rest) has been ruled out for Week 18. The Ravens will trot out some combination of WRs Rashod Bateman, Nelson Agholor, Laquon Treadwell, and Tylan Wallace with QB Tyler Huntley.
Ravens WR Zay Flowers (calf) "could be on a pitch count" vs. the Dolphins today, according to The Athletic's Jonas Shaffer. It's a rather vague report that we haven't seen corroborated elsewhere. We'll look for more on Flowers over the next 40 minutes. We're not adjusting his Week 17 projections for now, although he certainly comes with elevated risk today.
Ravens WR Zay Flowers (calf) is active for today’s game vs. the Dolphins. He only got in a limited practice on Friday, adding some risk to his Week 17 fantasy profile. We’ve at least heard nothing about Flowers’ snaps being limited today.
Ravens WR Zay Flowers (calf) is expected to play vs. the Dolphins on Sunday, according to insider Jordan Schultz. Flowers only got in a limited practice on Friday this week, so he'll carry a bit more risk than usual in Week 17 fantasy lineups.
