ESPN's Adam Schefter confirms that Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown (abdomen) and RB Jahmyr Gibbs (hamstring) won't play vs. the Panthers today. Both guys are listed as doubtful. It leaves the Lions without their No. 1 and No. 4 target getters. Expect a run-heavy attack from Detroit today.

Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown (abdomen) is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game vs. the Panthers. He didn't practice all week and obviously needs to be on fantasy benches. His absence would leave Detroit's WR corps to Josh Reynolds, Jameson Williams, Kalif Raymond, and Marvin Jones. Reynolds (groin) and Williams (not injury related) are listed as questionable for Week 5 but should play after getting in full practices on Friday. St. Brown's absence figures to mean an even more run-heavy game plan for Detroit -- and potentially a target boost for TE Sam LaPorta.

Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown told reporters on Thursday afternoon that he expects to play vs. the Panthers this weekend. “I’m feeling pretty good," St. Brown said. "I was running today. Actually I might’ve hit one of my top speeds the other day. So, I’m feeling pretty good.” St. Brown added that his injury is more of a pain-management issue. He can stay penciled into fantasy lineups for now. We'll get another update on his status tomorrow.

Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown (abdomen) did not practice on Thursday. He did get "significant work" with a trainer off to the side, according to Pride of Detroit's Jeremy Reisman. We'll see what St. Brown does on Friday and how he's listed on the final injury report for this weekend's game vs. the Panthers.

Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown was listed on Wednesday's injury report as a non-participant with an abdomen issue. The team didn't actually practice, so it's an estimated report. But HC Dan Campbell was non-committal on St. Brown's availability for this weekend's game vs. the Panthers, according to insider Dave Birkett. We'll get another update on St. Brown tomorrow.

Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown (toe) is active for today’s game vs. the Falcons. He’ll play with a steel plate in his shoe so that his injured toe can’t bend as much. It’s safe to assume that St. Brown won’t be at 100% today, but he remains a strong fantasy option.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport hears that Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown (toe) is "optimistic" that he'll be able to play vs. the Falcons today. It's not as good as a "will play" report, but St. Brown can stay penciled into Week 3 fantasy lineups for now. We'll get Detroit's inactives around 11:30 am ET.

Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown (toe) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Falcons. He went from no practice on Wednesday to a limited practice on Thursday and full participation on Friday. St. Brown told reporters on Friday that he plans to play with a steel plate in his shoe so that his injured toe can’t bend as much. He added that he’s dealing with a bruised bone in that toe, rather than turf toe. "But it's been getting better every day. I'm excited and happy that it's nothing too serious,” St. Brown added. Even at less than 100%, St. Brown would be nearly impossible to bench in season-long fantasy lineups.

Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown (toe) returned to a limited practice on Thursday. He figures to suit up for this weekend's game vs. the Falcons. Even at less than 100%, St. Brown would be impossible to bench in fantasy football lineups.

Lions HC Dan Campbell labeled WR Amon-Ra St. Brown "day-to-day" with a toe injury. St. Brown won't practice on Wednesday. He was able to play through this injury in the second half of last week's game, so we're tentatively expecting him to be out there vs. the Falcons on Sunday. But we'll keep a close eye on St. Brown's status over the next few days.

Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown did Amon-Ra St. Brown things in Thursday night's upset win over the Chiefs. He led Detroit with nine targets and six catches, racking up 71 yards and a TD. St. Brown drew 25.7% of the targets, which is actually slightly below his target share in healthy games last year. Perhaps TE Sam LaPorta's emergence keeps St. Brown from broaching a 30% target share this season, but he's still clearly the top dog in this passing game -- and a WR1 in fantasy lineups.

Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown is not listed on the Week 1 injury report. He suffered a minor ankle injury in mid-August but returned to practice over the weekend and is good to go for Thursday night's opener vs. the Chiefs.

Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown (ankle) returned to practice over the weekend. He injured his ankle on August 16 but never seemed in danger of missing the season opener vs. the Chiefs. We'll monitor St. Brown's status on the official practice reports this week, but he can be penciled into Week 1 fantasy lineups for now.

Lions HC Dan Campbell expects WR Amon-Ra St. Brown (ankle) back sometime next week. He suffered a minor ankle injury in Wednesday's practice. It doesn't sound like St. Brown is in any danger of missing the start of the season, so we're not adjusting his spot in the 2023 fantasy football rankings. We'll let you know when St. Brown gets back on the field.
