Bears RB Jordan Howard (shoulder) was removed from the final Week 3 injury report. He got in a full practice on Friday after being limited on Wednesday and Thursday. It all makes him easier to trust in fantasy lineups, although we’d still consider him just a RB2 against a tough Steelers defense.

Bears RB Jordan Howard (shoulder) was limited on Thursday for the 2nd straight practice. It's looking like he'll play vs. Pittsburgh on Sunday -- but at far less than 100%. Tarik Cohen is the better fantasy bet in the Bears backfield both in PPR and non-PPR leagues.

Bears RB Jordan Howard had his right arm in a sling after Sunday's loss to the Bucs, according to insider Brad Biggs. Howard was limited all last week and listed as questionable for Week 2. He ended up carrying just 9 times for 7 yards. He was never announced with an injury on Sunday but didn't record a touch in the 2nd half. We'll look for an update on Monday and monitor his status throughout the upcoming week.

Bears RB Jordan Howard (shoulder) is active for today’s game against the Bucs. We’ve heard nothing to suggest the shoulder will be an issue. But Tarik Cohen’s emergence has Howard sitting in RB2 territory in our Week 2 rankings.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport confirms that Bears RB Jordan Howard (shoulder) is expected to play against the Bucs today. There's never been much concern about his availability. RB Tarik Cohen is a bigger issue for Howard's fantasy stock than the shoulder. Consider him a RB2 for Week 2.

Bears RB Jordan Howard (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Bucs after a limited week of practice. HC John Fox has expressed no concern about Howard’s status. Keep him penciled into fantasy lineups, but check back on Sunday morning to make sure he’s active.

Bears RB Jordan Howard suffered a minor eye injury in Friday's walkthrough and is not expected to play Saturday, NFL Network reports. We'll see if it lingers, but there seems no reason to worry about his fantasy outlook.

Bears RB Jordan Howard said he wants to shed a little weight for his 2nd season. He told the Chicago Sun-Times that he plans to play at "like 225 pounds" this season. He weighed 230 at the 2016 Scouting Combine and reportedly played last year in the 230s. We're not worried about slightly less weight hurting his power, and we'll see whether a streamlined Howard gains any speed. The biggest positive here is that Howard's already focused on his conditioning -- an area many players fail to grasp early in their careers. He's a top RB pick for 2017 fantasy football drafts.

The Bears added North Carolina A&T RB Tarik Cohen in the 4th round of the draft. Cohen ran for 1,100+ yards in all 4 of his college seasons -- and 1,500+ in each of the last 2. He also totaled 97 catches over the past 4 years. Cohen boasts 4.4 speed and some of the nastiest cuts you'll see from a RB in this year's class. He goes just 5'6 and 179 pounds, so he'll never be a feature back at the NFL level. But Cohen could quickly carve out a change-of-pace role behind Jordan Howard.

The Bears have signed RB Benny Cunningham. The 26-year-old was decent in a backup role for the Rams over the past 4 seasons, averaging 4.4 yards per carry and totaling 93 catches. He's no threat to RB Jordan Howard's starting job in Chicago, but he could steal some passing-down work. Howard hauled in a subpar 58% of his targets as a rookie last year after mustering just 24 catches over 3 college seasons.

Bears RB Jordan Howard ran 17 times for 90 yards and 1 TD in Sunday's loss to the Packers, adding 4 catches for 23 yards among 4 targets. He has now rushed for 84+ yards in 4 straight games and 77+ in each of his past 7. His 1,059 yards for the season rank 8th in the league. Howard's a reliable weekly starter the rest of the way and might be heading for a spot among the preseason top 12 at his position in 2017.

The forecast for today's Packers-Bears game calls for a temperature of 6 degrees with winds of 10-20 mph. The wind chill could sink as low as -13. That's cold. Expect more running than usual from both sides. We're still expecting Green Bay's passing game to be effective. WR Alshon Jeffery is the only piece of the Bears' passing game that should be in fantasy lineups.

Bears RB Jordan Howard carried 13 times for 86 yards vs. Detroit, adding 2 grabs for 24 yards. Chicago kept this one close, so Howard’s usage is a bit confusing. He remained efficient, though, with 6.6 YPC. He’s now tallied at least 4.5 YPC in 5 of his last 6 outings. He’s a no-doubt fantasy starter going forward, starting with next Sunday’s home date with Green Bay.

Snow is expected throughout today's 49ers-Bears game, accumulating to 3-5 inches. Winds will be at just 5-7 mph, though, so we're not downgrading the passing games. Of course, both offenses figure to go run-heavy anyway.

Bears RB Jordan Howard isn't even listed on the Week 11 injury report. HC John Fox claimed his RB suffered an ankle or Achilles injury in last week's loss to the Bucs, but that was either bad information or it was an extremely minor injury. Howard is good to go for Sunday's game against the Giants' 16th-ranked RB defense. He's ripped off 6.2 yards per carry over his last 2 games.

Bears RB Jordan Howard (ankle, Achilles?) was on the field for the start of Wednesday's practice. We'll find out later today whether he's listed as limited or a full participant. HC John Fox said after last weekend's loss that Howard suffered an ankle or Achilles injury. Howard said that he was fine. We haven't heard anything since. The fact that he was out there on Wednesday puts him on track to play against the Giants this weekend. We'll update his status again tomorrow.

Bears RB Jordan Howard suffered an ankle or Achilles injury during Sunday's loss to the Bucs, HC John Fox revealed afterward. We didn't notice or hear of an injury during the game. Howard's final carry came midway through the 4th quarter. We'll look for an update on his status tomorrow. Howard's absence would leave Chicago's backfield to Jeremy Langford and Ka'Deem Carey.

Bears RB Jeremy Langford (ankle) is active for tonight’s game vs. the Vikings. Out since Week 3, Langford returns to a running back by committee. The Bears have announced that Jordan Howard will start.

Bears RB Jeremy Langford (ankle) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable for Monday night's game against the Bears. He shouldn't be in Week 8 fantasy lineups, but his return would further dent RB Jordan Howard's outlook.
