Ravens RB Gus Edwards (knee) has been activated from the PUP list and will play vs. the Browns on Sunday. It'll be his 1st action since tearing his ACL in September of 2021. Even with RB J.K. Dobbins on IR, this Baltimore backfield is as muddy as ever. Edwards, Kenyan Drake and Justice Hill all have a chance to lead the way in carries this weekend. Our best guess is that Edwards will be limited in his return and that Drake will edge out Hill in terms of volume -- but none of the 3 is a safe Week 7 fantasy play.

With J.K. Dobbins headed for knee surgery, ESPN's Jamison Hensley says the Ravens "will rely on Kenyan Drake." He adds that Justice Hill "is back" for this week's game against the Browns and that Gus Edwards "could also be activated" from the PUP ahead of the game. But it sounds like we should expect Drake to run 1st in the backfield for at least Week 7. That's enough to make him the best bet for fantasy football rosters right now, with the understanding that this is a fluid situation.

Ravens RB J.K. Dobbins will be having arthroscopic surgery on his left knee next week. ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that he'll miss the ensuing 4-6 weeks. That should leave this week's backfield to Kenyan Drake and Justice Hill, who put in full practices all week coming off his hamstring injury. Gus Edwards should be back soon as well and gains upside with Dobbins' status. All 3 Baltimore RBs are worth stashing where possible on fantasy football rosters.

Ravens RB J.K. Dobbins (knee) is out for Sunday's game vs. the Browns. He didn't practice all week, and it's unclear if he'll miss more time beyond Week 7. Dobbins' absence leaves Baltimore with RBs Kenyan Drake, Justice Hill and Mike Davis. Drake is the best bet to lead a committee attack and is in the RB3 mix.

Ravens RB J.K. Dobbins (knee) missed practice again on Thursday. It looks like he's in real danger of missing this weekend's game vs. the Browns, which would leave Baltimore's backfield to RBs Kenyan Drake and Justice Hill.

Ravens RB J.K. Dobbins (knee) did not practice on Wednesday. His surgically repaired knee "tightened up" during last week's loss to the Giants, HC John Harbaugh said. We're not sure if that qualifies as a setback, but Dobbins' availability for this weekend's game vs. the Browns seems up in the air. His absence would leave the backfield to Kenyan Drake and Justice Hill, who put in a full practice on Wednesday with his hamstring injury.

Ravens RB Kenyan Drake took his team-high 10 carries for 119 yards in Sunday's loss to the Giants, highlighted by a 30-yard TD run. Drake garnered some extra work because RB J.K. Dobbins' repaired knee "tightened up," keeping him from playing the 2nd half. We'll see whether that issue affects Dobbins' availability for Week 7.

Ravens RB Justice Hill (hamstring) is inactive for today’s game vs. the Giants. It’ll be J.K. Dobbins and Kenyan Drake as Baltimore’s top 2 RBs.

Ravens RB Justice Hill (hamstring) is listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game vs. the Giants. It looks like it’ll be J.K. Dobbins and Kenyan Drake in Baltimore’s backfield again this weekend.

Ravens RB Justice Hill (hamstring) is out for Sunday night’s game vs. the Bengals. RBs Mike Davis and Kenyan Drake figure to be active for that one, but neither is on the fantasy radar. RB J.K. Dobbins’ role should continue growing after his snap and carry shares climbed from Week 3 to Week 4.

Ravens RB J.K. Dobbins made his season debut in Sunday's win over the Patriots, totaling 40 yards on 9 touches. Dobbins trailed only QB Lamar Jackson in rushing attempts (7), gaining 23 yards. He added 17 via 2 receptions on his only 2 targets. Dobbins' playing time proved near-identical to Justice Hill's in all phases. We'd bet on that shifting more toward Dobbins as he moves further from the knee recovery. But Baltimore also figures to get RB Gus Edwards back on the field fairly soon. So don't be surprised if Dobbins spends the year sharing more work than you'd like him to. RB Kenyan Drake was a healthy scratch for Week 3. RB Mike Davis played 1 snap.

Ravens RB J.K. Dobbins (knee) is active for today’s game vs. the Patriots. It’s his first action since last August’s multi-ligament knee injury. RB Kenyan Drake is a healthy scratch, leaving RBs Justice Hill and Mike Davis behind Dobbins.

Ravens RB J.K. Dobbins is expected to make his season debut Sunday against the Patriots, according to multiple reports. We’d hold off on using Dobbins in fantasy football lineups right away, as we have yet to see just how much work he’ll get. But we wouldn’t be surprised to see him quickly work his way to the front of an otherwise weak backfield.

"It appears unlikely" that Ravens RB J.K. Dobbins (knee) plays against the Dolphins today, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport tweets. "He's pushing to go, but the team will make sure he's ready before he plays," Rapoport adds. Dobbins got in 3 full practices this week, but the Ravens continue to be super cautious with his return. So it looks like Kenyan Drake will get another game as Baltimore's lead back.

Kenyan Drake got the 1st and most touches among Ravens RBs in Sunday's 24-9 win at the Jets. He handled both RB carries on the team's 1st drive and finished with 11 rushes to Mike Davis' 2. He produced just 31 yards, however (2.8 per rush) and added a single 15-yard catch on his only target. Justice Hill led RBs with 2 targets, while Davis got 0. J.K. Dobbins was inactive but worked out before the game and entered the day "questionable." His return is nearing and might come as soon as Week 2.

Ravens RB J.K. Dobbins (knee) is inactive for today’s game against the Jets. Dobbins was pushing to play and told ESPN’s Dianni Russini this morning that he’ll be back “soon.” We’ll continue to keep you updated on his progress. RBs Mike Davis, Kenyan Drake and Justice Hill are active for Baltimore today.

ESPN's Dianna Russini hears that Ravens RB J.K. Dobbins (knee) is a game-time decision for today's opener vs. the Jets but is trending toward sitting. "It’s unlikely he plays but he’s going to try," Russini tweeted. Dobbins should be on fantasy benches even if he ends up active today. Look for Mike Davis and Kenyan Drake to handle most of Baltimore's RB work.
