Broncos WR Tim Patrick (hamstring) didn't practice on Wednesday. He's in danger of missing this weekend's game vs. the Chargers. Patrick's absence would free up targets for WRs Jerry Jeudy and K.J. Hamler and TEs Noah Fant and Albert Okwuegbunam

Broncos TE Noah Fant (ankle) practiced all week and isn’t listed on the final injury report. He’ll return for Sunday’s game against the Chiefs. Fant averaged 7 targets, 4.7 catches and 61 yards over the first 3 weeks of the season. He’s back to TE1 status.

Broncos TE Noah Fant (ankle) was upgraded to a full practice on Thursday. It looks like he's set to return for this weekend's game against the Chiefs. Fant averaged 7 targets, 4.7 catches and 61 yards over the first 3 weeks of the season. He immediately climbs back into TE1 territory.

The Broncos have downgraded TE Noah Fant (ankle) to out for Sunday's game against the Patriots. That leaves Nick Vannett and Jake Butt as the top TEs for what's already 1 of the league's worst offenses. Removing 1 of Denver's top playmakers also makes the New England defense an even stronger play.

Broncos TE Noah Fant (ankle) is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Patriots after a limited week of practice. We’ll get his official status by noon ET on Sunday, but Fant will obviously come with elevated risk if he suits up.

Broncos TE Noah Fant (ankle) put in a limited practice on Wednesday. His status for this weekend's game vs. the Patriots remains uncertain. We'll get another update on Thursday afternoon.

Broncos QB Drew Lock (shoulder) put in a full practice on Wednesday. That presumably puts him on track to return for Sunday's game against the Patriots. Lock will be just a low-end QB2 for that one, but his return is excellent news for Jerry Jeudy, Tim Patrick and Noah Fant.

Broncos TE Noah Fant (ankle) is out for Monday night's game against the Patriots. He didn't practice all week and should be considered questionable for Week 6. Denver will roll with TEs Jake Butt, Nick Vannett and rookie Albert Okwuegbunam vs. New England. None can be trusted in fantasy lineups.

Broncos HC Vic Fangio called TE Noah Fant (ankle) a "long shot" for Sunday's game against the Patriots. Fantasy owners need to be making other plans. Fant's absence would leave Denver with TEs Jake Butt, Nick Vannett and rookie Albert Okwuegbunam. None can be trusted in fantasy lineups.

Broncos HC Vic Fangio said "there's a chance [TE Noah Fant] will miss some time" with the ankle injury he suffered in Thursday night's win over the Jets. The injury isn't believed to be serious, but fantasy owners should be lining up a backup plan for at least Week 5. We'll track Fant's status this coming week.

Broncos TE Noah Fant left Thursday night’s game against the Jets in a cart with an ankle injury. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that Fant got good news, though. “All good. Minor. He will be fine,” Schefter’s source said. We’ll see how soon Fant actually gets back onto the field.

Broncos WR Courtland Sutton (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Monday night's game against the Titans. After hurting that right shoulder on Thursday, he didn't practice on Friday or Saturday. So consider him on the wrong side of 50/50. With the late kickoff, Sutton should be on fantasy benches. His absence would mean more targets for WR Jerry Jeudy and TE Noah Fant. Broncos rookie WR K.J. Hamler (hamstring) is also listed as questionable after a limited week of practices.

Broncos WR Courtland Sutton suffered an apparent right shoulder injury in Thursday's practice. "Sutton was making outstretched one handed catch vs air with left hand when he came down awkwardly on his right hand. He came up holding his right shoulder," insider Mike Klis tweets. We'll look for updates on the situation -- but Sutton would obviously be a huge loss for this Broncos passing game. His absence would free up more targets for WR Jerry Jeudy and TE Noah Fant.

The Broncos selected Missouri TE Albert Okwuegbunam in the 4th round of the 2020 NFL Draft. Albert O brings a freaky combination of size and speed. The 6’5, 258-pounder blazed a 4.49-second 40-yard dash at the Combine. His 127.0 Speed Score is 3rd best among all TEs since 2000 — notably ahead of guys like Evan Engram, O.J. Howard and Noah Fant. Okwuegbunam disappointed with a 23-306-6 line without QB Drew Lock last year. But he tallied 415 yards and a 11 scores as a true freshman in 2017 and then caught 43 balls for 466 yards and 6 scores in 2018. Okwuegbunam missed 5 games over the last 2 seasons with shoulder injuries and looks a bit straight-linish on tape. But that size-speed combo makes him an intriguing fantasy prospect. He reunites with Lock in Denver and, alongside Noah Fant, gives the Broncos the fastest TE duo in the league.

Broncos TE Noah Fant (shoulder) is active for today’s game against the Lions. The shoulder issue adds risk, but Fant boasts plenty of upside vs. a Detroit defense sitting 26th in Football Outsiders' TE coverage rankings.

Broncos TE Noah Fant (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Lions. He returned to play through this injury last week, so we're expecting him to play. The shoulder issue adds more risk to a guy who's already been a volatile producer. But Fant boasts plenty of upside vs. a Detroit defense sitting 26th in Football Outsiders' TE coverage rankings.

Broncos TE Noah Fant suffered a shoulder injury in the 2nd quarter of Sunday's game in Kansas City and is officially questionable to return. The rookie came into this one with foot and hip injuries. We'll update his status when we learn more.

Update: Fant returned for the 2nd half.
