Seahawks DE Michael Bennett (knee) is questionable for Sunday night's game against the Panthers. He was limited Thursday and Friday after a full practice Wednesday. "We rested him a little bit to make sure that we don’t overdo him in back-to-back days so he’ll be ready to play,” HC Pete Carroll told the team website Friday. The status is a reminder that Bennett's coming back from knee surgery and a 5-game absence and could be limited this week. Check the Week 13 DL rankings to see where we're willing to play him.

Seahawks DE Michael Bennett (knee) and S Earl Thomas (hamstring) each put in full practices Wednesday. That makes it appear both will be ready to play Sunday against the Panthers. Thomas missed his 1st career game last week at Tampa Bay. Bennett has missed the past 5 contests. He'll be a little risky in IDP lineups until we see a full game back, but the full practice participation makes it easier to take a chance on Bennett right away -- assuming that level continues throughout the week. Thomas has been a low-level fantasy performer all season, so his return is far more significant to the team D than IDP owners. Both players boost the overall unit with their presence.

Seahawks CB Deshawn Shead is out for today's game at Tampa Bay.

The Seahawks have ruled S Earl Thomas (hamstring) out for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers. They'll also be without DE Michael Bennett (knee), who will miss his 5th straight game. CB DeShawn Shead (hamstring) is questionable after missing practice all week. He doesn't look like a good bet to play -- and would likely carry re-injury risk if he is active and playing.

Seahawks S Earl Thomas left Sunday's win over the Eagles in the 3rd quarter with a hamstring injury. HC Pete Carroll told the Seattle Times afterward that Thomas “got a little hammy strain that he can feel, so we got him out of there.’’ It doesn't sound like a big deal, but Carroll said it was too early to know Thomas' status for Sunday's game at Tampa Bay. CB DeShawn Shead also left early with an injury that popped up over the weekend. Carroll said the young CB “felt his hamstring Saturday for the first time and just couldn’t get loose today warming up so we saved him. But he couldn’t make it so we’ll have to see how that goes.’’ We'll see about the status for each player as we get into the practice week.

Seahawks CB DeShawn Shead left in the 1st quarter of Sunday's game against the Eagles to get his left hamstring worked on. We'll keep an eye on whether he returns.

Seahawks S Kam Chancellor (groin) put in a full practice Wednesday, his 1st since suffering the injury in the lead-up to Week 6. Chancellor has missed the past 4 games but appears to be on track to play this Sunday at New England.

Seahawks S Kam Chancellor (groin) will miss his 4th straight game Monday night against the Bills. He has yet to even return to the practice field. Kelcie McCray will continue to start in Chancellor's spot but gets a negative IDP scoring matchup in Buffalo.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Seahawks DE Michael Bennett will have surgery Monday to repair cartilage in his right knee. Bennett's expected to miss 2-3 weeks, which would at least cost him matchups with the Bills and Patriots. DE Frank Clark saw increased playing time at New Orleans on Sunday, delivering 6 tackles (3 solo) and a sack. You'll find Clark in this week's IDP Free Agent Focus.

The Seahawks have ruled DE Michael Bennett (knee) out for Sunday's game at New Orleans. Bennett suffered the injury back in Week 6 and sat out practice this week, but he started last week's game at Arizona and played 81 snaps. So this comes as a surprise. DE Frank Clark should see significantly more snaps in Bennett's absence, though the Saints matchup isn't great for sack upside. ESPN's Sheil Kapadia reports that Bennett will get his knee checked Monday for a cartilage issue that might require surgery. Seattle will also miss S Kam Chancellor (groin) this weekend for the 3rd straight game, leaving Kelcie McCray to start in his place again.

Seahawks S Kam Chancellor (groin) is inactive for tonight's game against the Cardinals, as expected. He hasn't been close to full strength since suffering his injury last Thursday. S Kelcie McCray will start in his place for the 2nd straight game.

Seahawks S Kam Chancellor is doubtful for Sunday night's game at Arizona with the groin injury that cost him last week's game. Chancellor missed practice every day this week with the injury he suffered last Thursday. Kelcie McCray's likely to start in his place again.

Seahawks HC Pete Carroll said Monday that DE Michael Bennett is feeling "pretty good" and that his "tests came back clear" after Bennett hurt his right knee Sunday, according to the Seattle Times. It doesn't seem like Bennett is heading for any further missed time, but we'll keep an eye on his practice participation this week.

Seahawks DE Michael Bennett left Sunday's win over the Falcons with a right knee injury after taking a low block from Atlanta OT Jake Matthews that left Bennett cussing as he recounted the play after the game. Bennett did say that he doesn't think the injury is major and that he expects to play in Week 7, according to ESPN's Sheil Kapadia. "A little sore, but we think he's OK," HC Pete Carroll added. "A little sore knee. We'll see what happens here in the next couple days."

Seahawks S Kam Chancellor is inactive for today's game against the Falcons. He suffered a groin injury in practice Friday. We'll see about his practice status next week.

The Seahawks added SS Kam Chancellor to the injury report Friday with a groin issue and list him as questionable for Sunday's game against the Falcons. That came after Chancellor participated fully Wednesday and Thursday, so it appears he suffered the injury in practice Friday. We'll check on his Sunday status, but IDP owners should plan to go in a different direction at DB.
