Seahawks DE Ezekiel Ansah (ankle), S Bradley McDougald (back) and DL Quinton Jefferson (oblique) are questionable for Sunday's game against the Ravens. McDougald missed practice all week and shouldn't be in your IDP plans. He's gotten off to a disappointing fantasy start anyway after a solid 2018. Jefferson showed up on the injury report Thursday and finished the week with a pair of limited practices. Ansah returned to a limited workout Friday after missing the 1st 2 days. We'll check the status for all 3 on Sunday afternoon.

Seahawks DT Quinton Jefferson should be in a good spot for IDP upside this week against the Cardinals, but he's looking unlikely to be ready for the matchup. Jefferson missed practice Wednesday and Thursday with a hip injury. We'll see if anything changes Friday but have already moved him down the Week 4 IDP rankings.

Seahawks CB Tre Flowers is active for today's game against the Saints. He entered the day questionable with an ankle issue that popped up during the week, limiting his Thursday practice and sidelining him Friday. Flowers carries risk but is available as a low-level IDP. Rookie DE L.J. Collier is a bit of a surprise inactive. He wouldn't be an IDP target even if he were playing, but the 1st-round pick returned from his preseason ankle sprain to play limited snaps last week and then didn't appear on the injury report this week. Collier's likely still working back to full strength overall, while Seattle needed the spot on the active roster. Notably, DE Ezekiel Ansah will make his Seahawks debut after missing the 1st 2 games. He put in full practices all week and finished off the injury report.

Seahawks DE Ezekiel Ansah (shoulder) is inactive for the 2nd straight game. HC Pete Carroll expressed optimism (what else is new?) about Ansah's chances of playing early in the week. We'd expect that Ansah will return for Week 3. Rookie DE L.J. Collier, meanwhile, will make his NFL debut today against the Steelers. He had been out through most of the summer with an ankle injury. The Seattle edge picture is still developing.

Seahawks DE Ezekiel Ansah is questionable for Sunday's game against the Steelers. Ansah sat out Week 1 following a "questionable" designation. He looks like to make his Seattle debut, however, after putting in full workouts Thursday and Friday. HC Pete Carroll said early in the week that he expected Ansah to be ready for Week 2. The matchup with Pittsburgh is poor for sack upside, so try to hold off before putting Ansah into your IDP lineup.

Seahawks DE Ezekiel Ansah is out for today's game against the Bengals. Ansah was listed on the injury report with the shoulder that had offseason surgery. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport says he has been dealing with a groin issue lately, though. Ansah probably shouldn't be in IDP lineups until we see him for at least 1 game.

Seahawks DE Ezekiel Ansah (shoulder) is questionable for Sunday's opener against the Bengals. Ansah put in limited practices all week and should be ready to play. For how many snaps coming off his shoulder surgery? We'll see. Ansah is a risk-reward option for sack-heavy IDP formats. Rookie DE L.J. Collier is not yet ready to return from his summer ankle injury. He put in limited practices all week, but Seattle has ruled him out agains the Bengals.

Seahawks MLB Bobby Wagner had platelet-rich plasma therapy on a knee over the weekend, according to the Tacoma News Tribune, with a source describing the situation as "nothing major." HC Pete Carroll also downplayed the procedure, which several Seattle players have had in recent seasons. "He's done it a couple times before, and it's something that has been successful for him," Carroll said. "We felt like this was the time to do it." Carroll added that Wagner will likely see some preseason action at some point and might take part in the team's 2nd exhibition. The Seahawks will open their preseason Thursday against the Broncos. We're not concerned about Wagner's IDP outlook for the regular season.

Seahawks rookie DE L.J. Collier limped off the practice field Tuesday after suffering a high right ankle sprain, according to multiple reports. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that Collier is likely to miss the preseason. Expect Seattle to sign another DE in the coming days. Collier was already tough to get excited about for IDP purposes after he totaled just 14.5 sacks and 20.5 tackles for loss over his final 3 college seasons.

The Seahawks picked DE L.J. Collier at #30 in the 1st round of the NFL Draft. Collier is 1 of the bigger EDGE players in this class, checking in at 282 pounds at the Combine. He also delivered an above-average speed score (102.3). He joins a thin edge group in Seattle and could compete for time quickly.

The Chiefs have agreed to a trade for Seahawks DE Frank Clark. Per ESPN's Adam Schefter, the move will send this year's 1st-round pick and a 2nd-rounder in 2020 to Seattle, with the 2 teams also swapping selections in this year's 3rd round. Beyond that, Kansas City has reportedly signed Clark to a 5-year contract worth $105.5 million, with $63.5 million of that guaranteed. The Seahawks had franchised Clark, so his payday was coming. It's a surprising move for K.C., though, given that they had already traded away franchised edge rusher Dee Ford this offseason. Clark tied Ford's 13 sacks last season (7th in the league) and ranked 8th in total QB hits (with 2 fewer than Ford -- who also tallied 3 more tackles for loss). That followed seasons of 9, 10 and 3 sacks for the 25-year-old Clark. The trade shows K.C. clearly considers Clark a better fit in new DC Steve Spagnuolo's 4-3 base than it did Ford, an OLB in the Chiefs' previous 3-4 alignment. Clark's fantasy outlook shouldn't change. Perhaps it will help that he joins a stronger D-line than the one he left. Seattle, meanwhile, should be in the market for DE help. And the Seahawks are well setup with picks 21 and 29 in a class loaded on EDGE prospects. The current roster sports 2018 rookie Rasheem Green, 4th-year DE Branden Jackson and recent 1-year signees Cassius Marsh and Nate Orchard as the top options. Green's the highest upside play for IDP owners among them.

Gregg Bell of the Tacoma News Tribune reports that LB K.J. Wright is re-signing with the Seahawks. That will keep him and MLB Bobby Wagner in their established roles, with fellow re-signee Mychal Kendricks potentially manning the opposite outside spot. Wright struggled through a knee injury last season, which limited him to just 5 games. Kendricks filled in for him at times, amid a league suspension and his own injury. When healthy, Wright has been a solid LB2-to-LB3 for IDP purposes. His deal is believed to be short term -- perhaps a "prove it" type contract coming off his 2018 knee issue.

The Seahawks are keeping LB Mychal Kendricks on a 1-year, $4 million deal, according to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo. Kendricks could take over the starting weak-side job, with K.J. Wright an unrestricted free agent. If he does, Kendricks would likely land in LB3 territory in our 2019 IDP rankings. He'd also carry upside into LB2 range.

The Seahawks are using their franchise tag on DE Frank Clark. The 25-year-old (until June) delivered a career-high 13 sacks and finished top-8 among fantasy D-linemen. He also finished 12th among all edge players in Pro Football Focus' pass-rushing productivity, which measures the rate of pressure per rush opportunity. Clark should remain in the DL1 picture for at least the near future.

Seahawks S Bradley McDougald put in a full practice Thursday and didn't appear on the week's final injury report. That comes after he entered each of the final 2 games questionable. McDougald played 100% of the snaps in each of those games, though, and always seemed on track for full duty against the Cowboys. He'll see a fair amount of Dallas TE Blake Jarwin in coverage.

Seahawks S Bradley McDougald (knee) is active for today's game against the Cardinals. It's not surprising, given that McDougald played 100% of the snaps through a "questionable" tag last week. The knee situation, however, makes him a prime rest candidate if Seattle jumps out to a sizable lead against Arizona, though, which seems quite possible. It's also worth noting that the Seahawks are merely playing for the difference between the 5th and 6th seed in the NFC.

Seahawks S Bradley McDougald (knee) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Cardinals. McDougald had an odd practice week, missing Wednesday and Thursday before putting in a full Friday workout. But he played through a "questionable" tag last week and didn't miss a snap. Week 17, of course, adds a wrinkle. Seattle hasn't locked in its seed yet but is merely playing for 5th or 6th in the NFC. So do the Seahawks get McDougald a little rest before a playoff opener that will be on the road either way? You'll find him in the Week 17 IDP rankings, but with some risk still baked into the projection.

Seahawks S Bradley McDougald (knee) and DT Jarran Reed (groin) are active for tonight's game against the Chiefs.
