Cowboys TE Dalton Schultz (knee) is active for today’s game vs. the Commanders. He was limited in practice all week, but it’s uncertain if he’s ready for his usual role in this one. Schultz is just a TE2 today.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that Cowboys TE Dalton Schultz (knee) is expected to play Sunday against the Commanders. He's officially questionable after missing last week with a PCL issue. Schultz still carries some risk for fantasy football lineups.

Cowboys TE Dalton Schultz (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Commanders. He was limited in practice all week. It sounds like Schultz is on track to return for this one. But between the injury and continued absence of QB Dak Prescott, Schultz would be a shaky TE1 play.

Bengals RB Joe Mixon racked up 24 carries and 4 targets in Thursday night's win over the Dolphins. All that work resulted in 74 yards and 1 TD. That's a fine fantasy outing -- but we're expecting more on that massive volume. Mixon had very little room to run behind a still-in-progress offensive line. And on the few occasions when he found some space, he failed to make defenders miss. Mixon is now averaging just 2.7 yards per carry and 4.8 yards per target through 4 games. By comparison, he averaged 4.1 yards per carry and 6.5 yards per target last year. Expect his efficiency marks to start creeping toward those 2021 numbers going forward, making Mixon a nice trade target right now.

Cowboys TE Dalton Schultz (knee) was limited in Wednesday's practice. He seemed semi-close to playing this past Monday night, so we think there's a chance he's back for this weekend's game vs. Washington. Check back tomorrow for another update.

The Chiefs released K Matt Ammendola. He missed a 34-yard FG and an XP in the Week 3 loss to the Colts. We'll see if K Harrison Butker is able to return for Week 4 or if the Chiefs sign another K.

Bengals HC Zac Taylor said Monday that RB Joe Mixon "nicked up" his ankle in the win over the Jets but "will be good to go" for Thursday night's game vs. the Dolphins. We'll keep an eye on Mixon's practice participation over the next couple of days, but he can be penciled into Week 4 fantasy lineups for now.

NFL Network's Tom Pelissero calls Cowboys TE Dalton Schultz (knee) "unlikely" to play vs. the Giants tonight. He'll work out pre-game before a final decision is made, though. Dealing with a PCL injury, Schultz would be a risky fantasy play even if he ends up active.

Texans RB Dameon Pierce rushed for 80 yards and a TD on 20 carries in Sunday's 3-point loss to the Bears. He added 2 catches for 21 yards on 2 targets. Pierce again worked well ahead of RB Rex Burkhead on the rushing side while watching the veteran lead on passing downs. Burkhead led Houston with 4 catches on 5 targets (2nd to Brandin Cooks) but logged only 3 rushing attempts.
