"Whether or not that means he'll return at any point this season, I think we'll have to see after the surgery," HC Sean McVay said, according to Gary Klein of the Los Angeles Times. Greg Gaines started in Joseph-Day's place in Week 8 and looks like the NT going forward.

Chargers QB Justin Herbert (hand) is not listed on the final injury report. He was limited on Wednesday but put in full practices on Thursday and Friday. It doesn’t seem like we should be worried about the hand issue.

Tavon Austin somewhat unbelievably stepped in as Jacksonville's #3 WR after Chark exited Thursday night's game in Cincinnati, but we wouldn't bother adding him to fantasy rosters. WRs Marvin Jones and Laviska Shenault should pick up extra volume with Chark out of the picture

Update: Chark fractured his left ankle, according to multiple reports. He'll obviously miss the rest of the season. We'll see about his status heading into 2022.

Chargers S Derwin James left Sunday's game at Kansas City with a separated shoulder, but the issue didn't keep him out long. “Derwin is like, ‘Yeah, my shoulder just dislocated,’ acting like it wasn’t anything,” teammate Joey Bosa told the Los Angeles Times on Monday. “But his shoulder actually came out of the socket and he just popped it back in and came running right back out on the field.” James wound up missing just 7 of 79 defensive snaps for the game. And it looks like IDP fantasy players have nothing to worry about going forward.

Herbert was able to play through the issue, and Palmer confirms that the post-game treatment was "most likely precaution." But this will be a situation to monitor this coming week.
