        Justin Herbert Active

Chargers QB Justin Herbert (hand) is active for tonight's game vs. the Eagles. He'll be playing with significant protection on that injured left hand. (Here's video of him warming up tonight.) It figures to impact his ball handling and adds some risk to using Herbert in fantasy lineups. This is also a tough matchup against Philadelphia's sixth-ranked QB defense.

        Omarion Hampton Officially Returns

The Chargers on Monday activated RB Omarion Hampton from IR. That clears the way for him to play tonight against the Eagles. It would be his first action since a Week 5 ankle injury.

Justin Herbert Questionable For Week 14

        8:28pm UTC 12/6/25

Chargers QB Justin Herbert (hand) is listed as questionable for Monday night's game vs. the Eagles. He was limited in practice all week, working with a significant brace on that injured left hand. Herbert, Chargers coaches, and national insiders have all been optimistic about Herbert's chances of starting against Philadelphia. We're fully expecting him to play but would not use him in 1-QB fantasy lineups with the injury and a matchup against the league's sixth-ranked QB defense.

Omarion Hampton Questionable, Expected To Play Week 14

        8:25pm UTC 12/6/25

Chargers RB Omarion Hampton (ankle) is listed as questionable for Monday night's game vs. the Eagles. He was a full participant in Friday and Saturday's practices, though, and both ESPN's Jeremy Fowler and insider Jordan Schultz report that Hampton is expected back for this one. It'll be his first action since Week 5, so don't expect to see him in a workhorse role. We'll look for any hints on how work will be divvied between Hampton and RB Kimani Vidal. Hampton currently sits 20th in the Week 14 RB rankings.

        Omarion Hampton A Full-Go Friday

        8:59pm UTC 12/5/25

Chargers RB Omarion Hampton (ankle) was upgraded to full participation in Friday's practice. That should put him on track to return for Monday night's game vs. the Eagles. We'll see how Hampton is listed on Saturday's final injury report and look for any details on how much volume he'll get in his first action since Week 5. Hampton got a matchup upgrade with DL Jalen Carter out for Monday night's game.

        Omarion Hampton Still Limited Thursday

        1:33am UTC 12/5/25

Chargers RB Omarion Hampton (ankle) was limited in Thursday's practice. He wore a yellow no-contact jersey, according to ESPN's Kris Rhim. We're currently projecting Hampton to return for Monday night's game vs. the Eagles, but it's certainly not a lock. We'll keep you updated on his status over the next few days.

Justin Herbert Officially Limited On Thursday

        1:28am UTC 12/5/25

Chargers QB Justin Herbert (hand) got in a limited practice on Thursday. He was sporting a bulky brace on that left hand in the portion of practice open to the media. OC Greg Roman said afterward that he's "optimistic" Herbert will be able to play vs. the Eagles on Monday night. We continue to project Herbert to play, which would be good news for Los Angeles' skill-position players. But Herbert will not be a recommended start in 1-QB leagues.

        Justin Herbert Won't Practice Wednesday

        8:09pm UTC 12/3/25

Chargers QB Justin Herbert (hand) won't practice on Wednesday but will participate in the walkthrough, HC Jim Harbaugh said. The team remains uncertain whether Herbert will be able to play vs. the Eagles on Monday night. We don't expect to have a good idea of his availability for that one until the weekend -- and potentially not until Monday. Fantasy owners should not be planning on starting Herbert this week. Between the injury and matchup with Philadelphia's sixth-ranked QB defense, Herbert would be a shaky play even if he suits up.

Justin Herbert "Day To Day" After Surgery

        12:53am UTC 12/2/25

Chargers QB Justin Herbert had surgery to repair the fracture in his left hand on Monday. “Herbert’s return to play is considered day-to-day, and his status for next Monday’s game against Philadelphia will be determined later in the week," the team said in a statement. We'll keep a close eye on Herbert's status leading up to the Monday nighter. We're tentatively expecting him to play, but he'd be a risky fantasy play with the injury and in the matchup against the Eagles' 10th-ranked QB defense.

Justin Herbert Set For Surgery On Left Hand

        12:54am UTC 12/1/25

Chargers QB Justin Herbert will undergo surgery on Monday to repair a fracture in his left hand, HC Jim Harbaugh said after the win over the Raiders. Herbert got hurt in the first quarter but returned with protection on his left hand and played the rest of the game. Harbaugh said the team doesn't know yet whether Herbert will miss time. He'll have an extra day to heal ahead of next Monday night's game against the Eagles -- although that could also leave fantasy owners in a tough spot if Herbert's status isn't known by Sunday. We'll keep you updated throughout the week. Herbert's absence would put Trey Lance under center for the Chargers. He'd be a big downgrade for the team's pass catchers but would have some fantasy appeal thanks to his rushing ability.

Omarion Hampton Out For Week 13

        1:55am UTC 11/29/25

Chargers RB Omarion Hampton (ankle) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Raiders. He returned to limited practices this week but isn’t quite ready for game action yet. “It was a good week,” HC Jim Harbaugh said Friday. “Really beneficial, ramping up. Everything’s on track to return, not this week.” RB Kimani Vidal is the only healthy RB on Los Angeles’s active roster right now, with RBs Jaret Patterson, Amar Johnson, and Trayveon Williams on the practice squad. We’ll see which of those guys are elevated on Saturday afternoon, but Vidal is in for strong volume in a good spot against the Raiders’ 25th-ranked RB defense.

The details of Hampton's injury hadn't previously been disclosed, but it now makes sense that he wound up missing nearly two months. The rookie said he feels "amazing" now and hopes to return for Sunday's game vs. the Raiders. Omarion Hampton Designated To Return From IR

        10:38pm UTC 11/25/25

Chargers RB Omarion Hampton (ankle) has been designated to return from IR and was on the practice field on Tuesday. Week 13 has looked like the target for Hampton's return for a while now, and he's seemingly on track to play vs. the Raiders this weekend. We'll keep you posted on the rookie's status throughout the week. He ranked 19th among RBs in PPR points through Week 4 and finished as a top-7 PPR RB in both of his last two healthy games. Hampton has a chance to flirt with RB1 production the rest of the way, although the Chargers' injury-wrecked offensive line is a concern.

Johnston has a plus matchup against a Jacksonville defense that's struggled against outside WRs.
