Tory Horton Full Go at Camp After Cracked Tibia...But Still Off Redraft Radar

Seahawks WR Tory Horton avoided the PUP list to open training camp after a cracked tibia cost him the final nine regular-season games and the playoffs. Horton told ESPN’s Brady Henderson that he first felt the injury in Week 3, and it only worsened from there. He underwent surgery in February to have a rod implanted in his leg but is a full go for the start of training camp.

Rashid Shaheed Will Play Week 18

Seahawks WR Rashid Shaheed (concussion) is not listed on the final Week 18 injury report. He's cleared protocol and will play vs. the 49ers on Saturday night. Shaheed seemed to be gaining momentum with 4-67-0 and 5-74-0 receiving lines in Weeks 14 and 15. But he went catch-less in Week 16 before exiting Week 17 early. Shaheed would be a shaky start in season-long leagues but has enough upside to consider in daily contests.

Playing Time Tight Among Seahawks WRs

Sunday gave us a tough first game from which to judge the playing-time split among Seattle's top three WRs. Rashid Shaheed assumed the No. 3 role in his first game with the team, just five days after arriving in trade. But he played just five fewer snaps than Jaxon Smith-Njigba and ran just three fewer routes. Cooper Kupp -- in his return from missing Week 9 with injury -- led the trio in snaps. Total pass routes went:

        • JSN -- 11
        • Kupp -- 9
        • Shaheed -- 8

Cooper Kupp Questionable, Tory Horton Doubtful For Week 10

Seahawks WR Cooper Kupp (hamstring, heel) is questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Cardinals. He was a full participant in Friday’s practice, so we’re expecting him to play. WR Tory Horton, meanwhile, is listed as doubtful after missing practice on Thursday and Friday with a shin injury. That’ll leave Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Kupp, and the newly acquired Rashid Shaheed as Seattle’s top three WRs against Arizona.

Rashid Shaheed Looks "Completely Recovered" From Knee Injury

Saints WR Rashid Shaheed looks "completely recovered" from last year's season-ending knee injury, The Times-Picayune's Matthew Paras wrote from OTAs. Shaheed went down with a meniscus injury in October that required a full repair. He's now seven months removed from that surgery, which was expected to sideline him for 4-6 months.

        Rashid Shaheed Needs Meniscus Surgery

Saints WR Rashid Shaheed is out for Thursday night's game vs. the Broncos and likely longer. HC Dennis Allen said Wednesday that Shaheed is set for surgery to repair a meniscus injury in his knee. There's a “chance” he lands on IR, Allen added. We'll look for further details on Shaheed's timeline for return, but expect him to at least miss Week 8. New Orleans' bye isn't until Week 12.

Chris Olave & Rashid Shaheed Out Tuesday

Saints WRs Chris Olave (concussion) and Rashid Shaheed (knee) did not practice on Tuesday. Olave has virtually no chance to clear protocol in time for Thursday night's game vs. the Broncos. We're still waiting for more information on Shaheed's knee injury, but he seems unlikely to play against Denver. Without their top two WRs, the Saints would be left with Bub Means, Mason Tipton, and Cedrick Wilson.

Rashid Shaheed Has "Concerning" Knee Injury

Saints WR Rashid Shaheed is dealing with a knee injury that's "described as concerning," according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. It sounds like the team is still waiting for more info on the injury, but Shaheed does not have much time to get ready for Thursday night's game vs. the Broncos. New Orleans will very likely be without WR Chris Olave (concussion) for that one. We'll update Shaheed's status when we know more.

Rashid Shaheed Will Play Week 6

Saints WR Rashid Shaheed (hip) is not listed on the final Week 6 injury report. He got in just two limited practices this week but will play vs. the Bucs on Sunday. With QB Spencer Rattler at the helm, Shaheed projects as a volatile WR3.

Rashid Shaheed Returns To Practice Thursday

Saints WR Rashid Shaheed (hip) returned to a limited practice on Thursday. He told the media afterward that his injury is minor and that he expects to play vs. the Bucs this weekend. We'll see how Shaheed is listed on the final injury report tomorrow. QB play from Spencer Rattler is just as big a concern as the hip for Shaheed's Week 6 fantasy value.

Derek Carr Expected To Miss Multiple Games

Saints QB Derek Carr is expected to miss "multiple games" with the oblique injury he suffered in Monday night's loss to the Chiefs, NFL Network reports. He'll likely miss this weekend's game vs. the Bucs and the following Thursday's game against the Broncos. It sounds like he'll have a chance to be back for Week 8. New Orleans' bye isn't until Week 12.

Rashid Shaheed will play Week 15

Saints WR Rashid Shaheed (thigh) is not listed on the final Week 15 injury report. He was a full-go in Friday’s practice, so he shouldn’t be limited in this weekend’s game vs. the Giants. Shaheed is an upside WR4 option and will get a boost if WR Chris Olave misses with his ankle injury.

Rashid Shaheed won't play Week 14

Saints insider Nick Underhill confirms that WR Rashid Shaheed (groin) will not play vs. the Panthers on Sunday. Shaheed's quad injury is "more serious than initially believed," Underhill adds. "Initially thought to be a contusion, a second opinion showed it is more serious." It sounds like there's a good chance that Shaheed misses more time beyond Week 14. He's droppable in most redraft fantasy leagues.

Rashid Shaheed likely to miss Week 13

Saints WR Rashid Shaheed (quad) is "likely" to miss Sunday's game against the Lions, according to insider Nick Underhill. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport adds that Shaheed avoided a major injury, so he can stay stashed on benches in deeper fantasy leagues. WR Chris Olave is also iffy for Week 13 with his concussion, which could leave A.T. Perry, Keith Kirkwood, and Lynn Bowden as New Orleans' top three WRs. We'd expect to see a lot of Alvin Kamara, Taysom Hill, and Juwan Johnson in that case.
