Per NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo, the Bills have allowed WR Cole Beasley to seek a trade. Coming off back to back 82-catch seasons, Garafolo reported that “there is interest” in the 33-year-old slot target. GM Brandon Beane said “no door has been closed,” so it’s not a lock that Beasley plays elsewhere in 2022. Ultimately, we’d be shocked if Buffalo netted anything more than a late-round pick in a potential deal. According to Spotrac, Beasley’s slated to count $7.6 million against the cap in 2022 — a contract year.
The Giants released WR Cole Beasley. NFL Network's Mike Garofolo tweeted that Beasley is "expected to stick around," so it sounds like he'll land on the Giants' practice squad. Regardless, he's well off the fantasy radar.
The Giants aren't done adding slot receivers. They've signed WR Cole Beasley, according to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo. Beasley joins Parris Campbell, Wan'Dale Robinson, Sterling Shepard, and Jamison Crowder as primary slot receivers on New York's roster. We'll see about the details on Beasley's contract, but it probably won't be enough to guarantee him a roster spot. It's worth noting that he's reuniting with HC Brian Daboll, who was Beasley's OC in Buffalo from 2019-2021.
Bills WR Cole Beasley was elevated from the practice squad for tonight's game vs. the Dolphins. We'll see how big a role he plays in his first game back with Buffalo, but he's nothing more than a flier in 1-game DFS contests.
WR Cole Beasley is coming out of retirement to re-join the Bills, NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reports. Beasley is 33 now but remained effective as a short-range slot receiver for Buffalo last season, tallying an 82-693-1 line across 16 games. He'll join the practice squad for now but figures to be elevated to the active roster soon. We'll see if he's ready to play vs. the Dolphins on Saturday night. Beasley would be a desperation fantasy play at this point of the season, but his return is bad news for WR Isaiah McKenzie and TE Dawson Knox.
WR Cole Beasley is retiring, his agents tell NFL Network. The 33-year-old signed with the Bucs a couple of weeks ago but played just 13 snaps over the last 2 games. Beasley finishes an 11-year NFL career with 554 catches, 5,726 yards and 34 TDs.
